Hey guys! As you can see I'm fairly new here this time round and I'm having issues with being harassed. I know who the person is he's local to me and he keeps making profile after profile trying to intimidate me. What would be the best way to deal with this as blocking him makes no difference- a new profile pops up instantly!

Report to site admin would be my first stop.

After that, I'd be screenshotting any messages and getting Police involved if it continues.

It's been constant. Really concerning behaviour but I've been told he has massive mental health issues not that it would justify harassment

My job is safeguarding of domestic @buse, and while this is not DA, it does sound like stalking.

I'm happy for you to DM me, I may be able to give some advice.

This sounds a bit disturbing ,

Unfortunately its something that you hear about all to often ,

Why can't people just be normal and respectful to others,

Sorry that you are having to put up with this kind of behaviour.

Other than what others have already suggested I would say maybe block single guys from messaging you. You can still message guys and that allows them to send one back I think and any you've spoken to can still message you so once that plonkers deleted his profile and makes another one they cannot message you x

Inform the police and be honest.

Listen he is probably doing it because he thinks she will never report me because of a number of things. Harassment is not on and I can guarantee you they will speak to him.

had this. change your settings on here. do not allow new profiles to contact you. as soon as he does contact you, report it to admins (Not that they do much at all as they did not in my case). then just block and block and block his new profiles.

I would probably delete your profile and start a fresh one for yourself.

Block all single males from contacting you. And hide your photos/only have friends only photos.

Turn off your live location on Fab , and broaden the location on your profile, or even make up a location like " Fabsville "

Change the age on your profile to 99 , you can then write in your bio your age for people to read.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

Speak to admin , and keep reporting accounts. Gather enough evidence to take to the police also

or otherwise keep it and just keep blocking him.

it is illegal what hes doing , harrasment , stalking , sending unwanted photos , all illegal , so choose police ..thing is route if necessary.easier said than done as they will need screenshots as proof , his photo maybe , his address , his phone number etc.

He might not know who she is just that she's local, she probably recognises him either from a picture on his profile or one he sent her

She also said that she took down all her pictures because of this

It’s a shame that most of the advice is ‘hide yourself, make yourself so vague that nobody will know it’s you, block single guys’ as if it’s a you problem that you can solve. If you have a stalker it shouldn’t be your responsibility to hide so they don’t stalk you it shouldn’t be there’s to stop stalking you. You should be safe to have your full name, face and town on your profile if you want to without fear of some weird man stalking you. Ladies and gentlemen, if someone is stalking you, it’s not your fault it’s theirs. Report them to the police. Keep reporting them until they’re either locked up or getting the help they need rather than accepting any kind of responsibility for it and changing things for yourself.

On the other hand though, your membership cost less than a McDonald’s takeaway. I’m sure you can afford to write it off
