Hi there can anybody tell us if the lane going towards Rudry is open, the lane opposite the golf course past the Travelers Rest its a short cut to Rudry car park as last time the lane was shut, think they was doing work on it Xx

lane is open cos my friends live on that lane if it was closed it was only for a very short time due to hazardous rain

The shortcut lane to Rudry is well potholed...your better off going into Caerphilly and round.

For the final word on it, phone your local radio traffic line, they can be very helpful.

Caerphilly

The road is definitely CLOSED at the Caerphilly/Rudry end. I take my dog walking that way every evening and there are large boulders across the road so it doesn't look like it will be opening anytime soon
