We feel fab needs a way to down vote profiles/warn other members of negative experiences, misleading profiles and people, potentially dangerous people. So other members can make a judgement if they want to talk to those profiles or not.

Would anyone else agree with this sort of feature

It's not a bad idea but it'll be difficult to moderate and ensure it's not abused by bitter people that got stood up / ignored etc

The verification system is kind of doing the job

It does an OK job but doesn't go all the way, stood up would be a good reason to downvote with explanation

Is it... People leave polite verifications just to be polite.

Exactly and you have the option to not display a verification, so bad ones will never get shown
