Depends what floats your boat. The bay area and Castle are worth a visit in decent weather.

You can catch a train to Barry Island but it's not like it was years ago.

jacobs market is good for a browse .... antiques, retro and stuff on several floors.

Caerphilly and Llanelli

Cardiff market to try food vendors.

Cardiff castle.

Cardiff bay.

Roath Park lovey walk and lake.

St Fagans if you are keen on history.

Barry island. Lovely beach and try the Good sheds for food.

Caerphilly castle if you don’t mind a little further out.

Cardiff had great night life lots of lovely places to eat And drink.

Only one thing to do when in Cardiff that's go to Caroline street .. aka chip alley .. Dorothy's or Tony's chicken curry cheese and chips .. and people watch . Have fun

You could always make the short journey approximately 15 miles .. to Newport and see the 8th wonder of the world Pillgwenlly .. take in such sights as women swigging bottles of vodka and sherry sat in a pool of their own piss . Multiple youths dealing drugs in broad daylight.. and crackheads shouting at pigeons. Entry fee is free but you will be expected to make a small donation to the same guy who needs 50p for bus fare everyday for the last 15 years . 🤣🤣

Sounds very much like Swansea town centre, just add Neanderthals, fighting and vomit on a Friday and Saturday night 😂
