Central Belt

Hey there. We are going to Wales for the first time in Winter and was wondering if there are any recommendations on things to do in the Swansea area?

Will be able to travel outside of Swansea aswell as we are going to have a car sorted

Thanks in advance ??

Gower is stunning even in winter, plenty of sandy beaches and nice walks. Mumbles is also worth a visit

Port Talbot

Lots of lovely countryside West of Swansea if that's what you're looking for.

Wrap up warm though, the rain is colder here during the winter.

Brecon Beacons is nice too if you fancy a hill walk, but dress warm for that x

Still a lovely place in winter but abou a third of the town is closed, but still worth it.

If you get the chsnce also go to Manobier, beautiful castle 100m from a lovely sandy beach

West Wales

The whole Pembrokeshire coast has its own rugged beauty in winter, and places like Solva and St David’s won’t be awash with grockles.
