One of my favourite things to do. I love having forced time without my phone/internet, and you can watch whatever you want. Absolute peace.

Yes you haven't got someone talking to you while your trying to watch a film

Carmarthen

It’s totally fine.

You can see what you want, where you want and when you want.

Also nice to go with others, but sometimes you just need to breakout and do your own thing.

Between Pontarddulias and Gorseinon

I (husband) sometimes do it to destress after a long/ difficult day in work. Most stuff in the cinema has been crap recently though!

Except The Phantom Menace has a limited 25th anniversary showing and I don’t know enough nerds with a Friday afternoon free to join me haha

It’s fine, I often go to the cinema alone when I’m travelling with work. It passes the time, especially if I can’t find alternative entertainment

Back in the day when I was a student many years ago, I would often spend an afternoon in the cinema on my own.

Last summer I took the opportunity to go and see a film on my own on a Saturday evening - I just fell asleep probably inside the first half hour

I love doing it. I get to watch what I want with no one judging my popcorn intake.

Done it lots of times, wouldn't have seen many films if I hadn't.

Best pick a quiet time if you're not too sure. Went to see Terminator Two and felt a bit awkward in the queue alone. But it was fine while watching the film.

Absolutely why not, being single isn't a restriction to anything, I often go to cinema on my Todd and actually like it, I'll pop in the pub if I feel like it and also travel abroad alone too!

Often go alone. Work from home so often nip to Merthyr Vue.

Cinema Social! Is that a thing?

I regularly go to the pub on my own especially after a long day in work, love my own company
