Hi there - recently joined pure gym - due to childcare custody I can only go every other week (go 4 times in the week I can) what's your thoughts/views on meal replacement shakes for weight loss? I am looking at the USN diet fuel - want to lose 2 stone no rush - want it off and stay off

Hi Mate, honestly I would stay away from the shakes. It’s all a money making myth. I just stick to solids. Eggs are the perfect protein in the morning for breakfast. And with the gym, alternate your sessions with cardio, weights and hit sessions. The variety will have the impact you need.

Thanks for reply - I was hoping they would be an option for feeling fuller for less calories - but know there is a whole industry based on people wanting a quick fix and snake oil peddling

You’re right, it’s just a money making industry. I stopped taking the shakes years back.

Food tastes a lot better as well !
