Hey all

So question for the women, well and men I guess. On a first meet do women prefer to just a friendly hug, hug and a kiss? Or anything else?

In my line of work you meet new people men and women and just shake hands before and after. But I've found myself going to fab meets, and meaning to just give the women a friendly hug but end up subconsciously shaking their hand lol has made me feel abit awkward. So what works best for people?

Thanks

Hug and maybe a kiss on the cheek depending on how one feels.

A friendly hug I guess...

Though many I haven't gone as far as that, as for me a first meet is very short, just to establish we are who we say we are, and arrange a time to get to know eachother.

On a 1st meet I wouldn't want a hug at the start, or a handshake, just a hi & how many sugars. By the end you generally get the feel how you want it to end & have usually spoken about it, wouldn't want a handshake at any point, but a quick hug n a cheek kiss is nice if you're both agreeing it went well X

I would usually give a hug and a peck on the cheek as a greeting. If it ends up being a disaster then no further physical contact. If it goes ok, then hug and peck again to say goodbye. If it goes really well then a full on smooch

Could be a handshake, wave or short cwtch at the beginning of a social. Depending on how well the social goes could be the same or full on kiss and cwtch at the end.

I'm a big believer in asking each person, my autistic ass isn't going to pick up on social queues. I usually word it as "are you a hugger?" before I even begin to think about initiating.

Same goes for kisses, whether that be a simple peck on the cheek or something more intimate.

Everyone is different and a one size fits all attitude is just asking to make someone uncomfortable in my opinion.

I do this as well, due to my aspergers I'm either an over hugger or I have an invisible shield around me & even I don't know from one encounter to the next which it'll be. I've even been known to become totally overwhelmed during coffee/social & get up & leave. It's not easy to navigate on a 1:1 basis X

I’ve had socials that have turned immediately in to full on meets and others that ended with zero physical contact at all. Completely person and situation/time dependent. But I do love kissing

If you're meeting a bloke, you cup his knackers and tell him to cough.

If someone went to shake my hand i would probably do a awkward giggle .

We are more huggers and maybe a peck on cheek but we understand not everyone is like that so we tend to just leave whoever we are meeting take the lead.

See my autistic ass gets so awkward with all that small talk. Honeslty half the reason I've not met people directly off here is that awkwardness of a meet. Sex can do. Chit chat terrifies me. What do you even chat about ? "Hi so what would you like to do?" "Great ill meet you next Tuesday to shag me senseless. nice to meet you" I feel awkward just thinking about it.

Me too, when people ask me really in depth questions or explicit things, I'm not as comfortable talking about them as I am doing them

I have always been able to read people and the vibe depending on how well I know them but usually a hug is okay and you can ask if you're not sure - I'm pretty autistic myself so I can get awkward
