Too nice?

So this is aimed at life that is more outside Fab. Is there such a thing as being too nice? We've all heard 'treat em mean & keep em keen' etc and ladies only go for red flags. Can a guy be 'too' nice?!

I don't think you can compare "outside" to this. It's a very different world!

I think being nice and polite are great attributes, you either are or you aren't..

Some of the things I've been asked would never be asked if I was in a bar for example..

Being hidden behind a keyboard is almost an excuse to be rude.. block button comes in handy there.!

All you can be is yourself after all you can't be anyone else

My life rule, treat people well until they don't do the same then treat them as they have treated you, sometimes they realise there mistake sometimes they don't, at that point you can walk away. It's simple, and easy to follow.

There isn't such a think as being too nice, there is such a thing as being a doormat, know when to cut your losses and have nothing to do with the person.

I should say this is for everyone, not just males ot females.

In the words of Roadhouse:

"Be nice until it's time not to be nice".

Just be true to yourself. Concerning yourself with how to behave to attract the attention of another is something that will exhaust you as well as attract someone who might not be suitable for who you are.

Know your worth. Just be yourself and find ways to do what you enjoy in environments you like to be in. Chances are thats where you'll find someone who's your cup of tea with similar interests.

You can't be too nice, nice is always welcome. You can be too boring, though.

Not suggesting that is the case for you btw but it's worth keeping in mind.

If you focus too much on being nice, you'll potentially forget to include anything unique.

Thankyou everyone! It's good to get other people's perspectives and experiences on dating in general. I'm just wondering if I need a red flag or 6 to bag myself a date!

The risk is that you can be taken advantage of. On balance though I'd rather be too nice than not nice enough.

Just be yourself , that's all you do .

If you try to be someone you aren't sooner or later they'll realise that you aren't who they thought you were .

The same goes for them , are they who you thought they were .

Maybe be a bit more confident in your approach.

There's a massive difference between cockiness & confidence .

Also find out a bit about them , show you're genuinely interested in them .

Ask them questions but don't overdo it so it's like an interview .

Best of luck dude ??

Remember OP its not attractive to be down on yourself, there are lots of reasons why men aren't successful on here or in the dating game in general, it's often down to numbers. Project your genuine, humorous, engaging self (I read your veris) & something might find you, it often does once you stop seeking. All the best OP.

Awesome everyone! Thanks for engaging back with me. I genuinely was referring to dating off the site. Just something that was mentioned to me on a few occasions and was curious about people's take on the subject!
