I think they hope their plea will be seen in the local updates feed.

(Usually because their target has filters that won't let them message directly)

I know it is frustrating, I've been just a few months too old to message someone, but wouldn't broadcast it

Was just a figure of speech yeah I get that I was just pointing something out, totally get the lifestyle was in here for few years previously spoken and met some lovely people.
