You got to love it when you are honest about your body type and get instantly blocked just for being honest. So what do the ladies want a bunch of liars on here then

It's not that women want liars.

Some people have preferences, that's the same for everyone, not just women.

You didn't fit the preference so they opted not to continue the conversation. There's nothing wrong in that. Just move on to someone who is interested in your body type

Everyones idea of athletic, or large, is different.

Could just put average in the drop down and send pics when requested or ideally put a torso pic on your profile, clothed is fine.

Or petition admin to add Stocky to the drop down box

Don’t take it personally, if you’re not for them move on. Some people may just prefer to block than engage.

It would be interesting to know what you were being honest about because I think it’s needed context.

If you lied about your body size people are more likely to think what else are you lying about or hiding. Even yourself must have a preference to what people you would like to meet,others are allowed that preference also. Just take it on the chin and move on like we all do on here.

Over the year’s I’ve seen loads of statuses on fab complaining about being blocked.

The truth is people look for what turns them on and if you don’t fall into that category you’re not for them.

I find the block button a useful tool and have blocked a lot of couples and single women over the years just because they are not what I’m looking for so use it as an additional filter, also when I am told I’m not their type I’m polite and block them because at my age I’m forgetful and it lowers the risk of messaging them again at a later date.

When I first got introduced to fab over 20 years ago I didn’t really understand what a swinging site was, I could honestly say I was a bit of an arse hole!

Having also been part of a couple on here for many years some of the messages we received reminded me of my younger self needless to say it was an instant block.

It’s all about respect and peoples personal preferences.

These days I don’t tend to send messages if I like a profile I will fab their photos or send a wink.

Sometimes I’ll get a message thanking me for the fab or wink, that’s when the conversation tend to start.

I have some amazing friends on here so for me it’s more about quality over quantity.

Back in the day the best way to show interest was to use the wink button but now people call you lazy and ask that you make an effort! Then moan about getting too many messages

A wink is so much easier.

read a profile if you like what you’ve read send a wink if they send one back send a message.

Look at your winks read their profile if you like what you see then send a message.

If you don’t like the profile or they haven’t read yours properly just block

Try not to take it personally, sometimes it's just down to preferences.

I'm often rejected because my facial features are on the young looking side, but it doesn't mean I'm unattractive in general (I hope!). You'll find the people that appreciate you

I agree with the "everybody see people in a different category" I'd class myself as average as I carry a bit of body fat but I go to the gym and look well built in a shirt. I've been called buff, ripped, rugby player build you name it! Stick a torso photo up and leave the person decide if you're for them or not. If your blocked it's just you're not their type. Perhaps you're too good a shape and the other person finds it intimidating? Onwards and upwards and don't over think it!

If I've spoken to someone for a while and they deserve to be told, I will tell them, but you obviously can't reply to every single one, as messages will keep coming through every few seconds for as long as you're online, so by the time you reply to 1 it's been replaced by 5 more.

It's physically impossible to get up to date and send a message of rejection to EVERYONE you're not interested in.

Blocking isn't rude at all (unless it's to someone who have made plans with or something) and it ensures we don't have to accidentally waste each others time again - helpful for both sides, surely?

Genuine interest here, what was it about you body type they blocked you for? Did they tell you? "

Can only speculate given theyve not come back to answer this but the OP has athletic as their body type but in their profile blurb it says stocky. So maybe that’s caused some confusion. Who knows.

Nothing wrong with being blocked just because your not there type so long as they have the decency to tell you first not just block you manners cost nothing I have been an avid swinger for as long as I can remember I'm too long in the tooth now so I know the swinging etiquette and respect for others ...guess I'm an old swinging farther now..

Sorry MB but if we messaged every person to say we're blocking them it wouldn't be feasible. Why do we need to be polite when the majority of messages clearly show they've not read the profile,I would class that as impolite.

For example, my profile is patently clear about how & where I meet, I get a message that merely says 'can't wait to get inside you'. I then have to send a message to say I'm blocking you?

Nah, I proactively block & there's no manners involved.

Totally understand your comment and unfortunately it's the majority of the the men on here that give the genuine ones a bad name they just don't get that this is a swinging site and should Google the rules and etiquette and behaviour towards other people they tend to treat this as a site for a quickie and put no effort in ......I did forget that cpls and lady's get hundreds of messages.....anyway my point is I personally don't take offence if I get blocked for no reason...and have to say that I never have been.....
