I think campsites stay open for tents until the end of October, please correct me if I'm wrong, if they are open till then I'd love to go camping somewhere

I got a tentbox on the roof of my truck very handy and easy to use. I've only gone down as far as brecon, but usually just park up somewhere on the back roads or hiking spots ready to go in the morning

Bridgend and West Midlands

I travel around most of Wales and the mid-lands for the majority of the year.

I use my trusty tent everywhere and have been out in quite literally all weathers - even with temps down to -6°C and the tent was solid ice by the morning

Most campsites operate all year round and (especially if you you forego electricity) can be very reasonable prices.

Plenty of places to park up that are not Campites. Big caroark as you go over the Rhigos, free and good views.

The Uay, Kidwelly. West Side of Harbour, Burry Port and your looking out at the sea.....Weekends though as you might get a ticket in the week.

Free car park at the top of Penarth.

Ogmore I think is now ANPR as is Pembrey Country Park.....Loads of places in Pembrokeshire.......Would be great to have a Camper Social.

I've parked in mist places In Wales, don't really like campsites. So much better when its free and live life slightly dangerously!! Reality is if you get a ticket its usually £25 paid within 14 days.

Rhyslyn carpark in Afam valley is always busy with a few campers. Free to stay. And just a mile away in argoed are the MTB showers that you can use if needed.

Also stayed free on mariner in Swansea a few times but limited free space.
