Refusal to send face pics.

I don’t get it.

I’ve had a message from someone wanting to meet. Ask them for face photos as per our profile blurb. Only for them to respond that they don’t want to send a face pic due to their job. And they want to meet anyway on “no obligation” terms - that if we don’t like what we see upon this blind meet then we go our separate ways….

Do people actually sign up to that kind of offer??

It's nonsense

Why would anyone want to meet someone without knowing if they found them attractive first? Makes no sense to either party

If you agreed to go with 'their ' scenario, what's the chances of a single male turning up and saying his partner was unwell so couldn't make it

The amount of profiles that we’ve had message us asking to meet with zero photos (haven’t even been photo verified) and refuse to send photos is actually funny. Do these people actually think this kind of thing will work and doesn’t make their profiles come across fake af.

I find that quite dangerous! If they were really who they say they are, then they would send a photo. I could never meet anyone without knowing what they look like.

It's because this site is full of fakes and people looking for drama. The amount of guys on here setting up a woman's profile is unreal. It's a pretty scary place because that is in no way normal behaviour.

I always send a face pic with my messages, it's the normal thing to do isn't it lol

I would send a face picture if required. But I would expect one in return people without any pictures asking for a face pic I won't entertain. unless they can send me some but that depends on my mood.

Why would you even think about meeting someone with no photos on a profile ? Sounds very dodgy to me.

Ive had a site manager ask me if Im on here as she recognised me which was a bit awkward for 5 mins then we got on with the work I was there for.

We don’t share face pics on here and haven’t had major issues meeting anyone.

It’s personal choice. We would always do a social somewhere public first though. Or just meet people at a Cardiff/Bristol social for future meets.

If we send a pic and don't get one in return it's a delete from us.

You get the I'm a professional, it's my job, my private life, well we all are in the same position so why are you so special.

I will only send a face pic when I'm sure the person who in talking to isn't my ex or her new fella who posted my info on social media again. That happened on my last profile and the reason my current profile is quite vague

Its not blind date, so absolutely no chance of meeting anyone on here if they are'nt prepared to send a face pic when requested.

"What are these top secret jobs everyone does? Or is it "on the job away from home"?"

There are a number of jobs people can have that make them too afraid to send face pics. We wouldn't meet anyone who doesn't send face pics at some point prior to a meet but I'm sure they understand they are massively limiting their options and have made peace with it in exchange for extra reassurance on discretion.

Each to to their own. There seems to be far too much of a belief on these forums that there is a right way to be in the lifestyle and anything that deviates from that makes them timewasters, cheats or wannabes.

We always share face pic’s if asked, but expect the asker to share first! But pic’s don’t tell the while story as they may not fairly represent the people we are talking with….

If we ever did a random meet, we would want a social first, if no face pics. But our preference is a Club meet. At least that way everyone has a choice and options

Having been the victim of being called every name possible by neighbours and having kids following me from my home to work calling me a slut and a cock loving whore. This was my life for nearly a year. My work hauled me in front of a group of strangers to decide if I was a fit and proper person to do my job, that almost tipped me over the edge. I decided never to send face pics or have people at my home when I joined FAB due to my personal experiences. This incident was before every kid had a mobile and Facebook, so God knows what it would be like today. Nothing to do with FAB just a normal guy who couldn't handle being rejected. Unless you have experienced this you cannot image how awful it can be.

There are real consequences for some people. It takes someone to get burned before they realise the implications.

We're very hesitant to send face pics. We sent ours to one couple, several years ago, who asked. The chat fizzled out after a few days. They then uploaded our face pic to their public gallery, calling us time wasters. We reported them and they got the boot pretty quickly.

Now, we'll only swap pics after a good long chat and only if we're actually looking to meet. We've declined requests for face pics in the past and it's generally gone over OK and we've carried on chatting. A couple got a bit mardy about it but that's fine

We don’t share face pictures, ever. Yes, it limits our choices, but we are content with that. We’ve had no complaints from the people we’ve met. We respect other users opinions re their need for face pictures, but increasingly find that respect is not reciprocated. Our profile clearly states that we won’t send them and we don’t.

Bottom line is its each members perogative wether they send face pics or not..

It's then perogative of other member wether they pursue a meet or look elsewhere.

Where the flamboyance of flamingos live

I do a social first now so get to meet them to see if we click and want to take things further. I was messaged a while ago by a guy who wanted to meet and refused to send a face pic or do a social first. He said this was a fuck site and he wanted to just come round and fuck. When I responded saying I need to find the person I’m fucking attractive he replied I was on the wrong site? Meaning I should be on a dating site.

Obviously each to their own but if no face pic I always do a social anyway.

Over the years I've often met couples and ladies, invariably socially first including one to ladies with a traceable personalised registration number on the car they can pass on to a friend for their added security, without having seen their face photos although they have seen mine. Those who have gone into details regarding their professions and private life have had very good reasons for not wanting it widely known that they enjoy a slightly alternative lifestyle.

I did have one bitch though, after I refused to bale her out financially, send a photo of me doing a stir fry in a mans thong into my companies head office for the attention of the MD, with the word's written on the back, "This is what he is doing when he is supposed to be working." Needless to say it went straight in the bin as my MD, who was a bit if of a boy himself in his day, knows where to get hold of me 24/7 if he wants me for anything. Other senior management might not take such a relaxed view.
