I do it regularly, love it. Am a member of a few groups, so there’s always someone willing to come along

That said, I ended up hospitalised a few weeks back with a bad cellulitis infection in my face, which they reckon came from sea swimming. Spent a few days hooked up to IV antibiotics, with a face so swollen I looked like the elephant man’s brother

Hasn’t put me off though

I'm heading up to Perthshire this week. Hoping to get a swim in somewhere. Rivers will be too high. But the sea or a lochen seems like the best idea. Looking for directions or swim buddies. Also I SUP. So would be good to have some company for that.
