Beards - Yay or Nay

My love of beards is well known and I appreciate a really well kempt beard. Rarely attracted to clean shaven faces.

Guys, which side of the razor are you on?

All, are you barmy for beards or craving clean shaven?

I have stubble because beard growth is an unpleasant and itchy job, plus there is that clumpy stage where you look like you fell on a barbershop floor.

To those men who make it through and grow marvellous and distinguished beards I salut you Sir!

I can’t have a beard because of my job, but don’t think I’d ever go full beard even if I had the opportunity.

Any more than about a week or so of growth and it starts getting itchy and irritating

I love mine; I’d be totally lost without it now. I even feel a slight regret for all the years I spent shaving - I should have a beard in sixth form .

I love my hairy chest too - used to hate it!

Overall, I like to think I look like a mythical Celtic god, bestriding the mountains of Cymru/Wales. Unfortunately, that’s pure self-aggrandisement on my part .

I tend to sit in between. Usually a weeks growth then trimmed to stubble. Find a full viking too hot on my face. I also only use a proper razor blade for shaving so takes an age unless I want to have a million cuts so clean shaven only on special requests

I like the look of a tidy and trimmed beard, however I'm unsure about it with regards to going down on me etc. Lol I struggle with stubble sometimes due to sensitivity, but wouldn't say no....

Big bushy or long beards are a big no here, not a fan... Like others partially down to fear of cleanliness etc.... I don't like the idea of a big bushy beard going down on me haha sorry

Pontypool, Llanelli, St helens

I've got one which I keep short and shaped, the ex gf insisted I kept it and complained bitterly one weekend when I shaved lol. Now it's just second nature to keep it

I’m pushing 50 and patchy stubble is still the best I can achieve in the beard stakes so I shave. I’m pretty non-hairy generally apart from my head

I have a had a big beard for years... I've just trimmed it a bit...

I'm luck I've got a good jawline so my beard is there because I like it... not to hide anything.

I hate the overly groomed ones.. I'm much more rugged .

The ones that make you look like it's been sharpied on and you work in a kebab shop crack me up.

If you can't grow a tidy one just shave it

I've had a beard for a couple of years now. Trimmed, not full viking but more than just stubble.
