Which part of caerphilly?

It's a big place lol. Travellers rest is nice, although since their refurb they have made the food menu alot smaller, my local is the wingfield. Staff are always friendly and the food is alright as far as pub grub goes.

Cwrt house in the centre of Caerphilly os ok lovely view of the castle if you can sit outside.

Literally none of the pubs in Caerphilly are even remotely ok for food. Casa Mia and Volare are pretty decent for food. Pubs are so so. Avoid the Cwtch unless you are into drugs and fighting. Masins and Piccadilly are OK to drink in

I thought the pub had changed for the better since that lad got punched and died right outside the pub?

That was the last night I went there mind, I had enough of it by then. Too many gangs of chavvies selling drugs, with their mates the bouncers keeping an eye out and letting this take place. The lads death wasn't unsurprising, as there was always an element of trouble in the air at kicking out time.

No it hasn't really changed at all. There's always trouble up there
