Às an adopted Welshman who doesn't know the rules of rugby union but does have an underlying hatred of the english arrogance and english press. May I say good luck to Wales today and throughout the competition....but if they dont win it I hope Ireland, scotland, italy or france do.....

As a non sporting person I think it disgusting what a certain person says about the English. If Wales were playing India or Pakistan in a sporting event those comments would not be allowed. Any sport is a social thing and should be treated as such. A time for all to enjoy and have fun without the nastiness.

What person was that?

Ah get over it anyway, its just banter.

We will always hate the English when it comes to rugby and they'll always hate us. It's tradition innit.

The comments and anti English feeling is normally aimed at the press and hype that surround any victory.....remember the tour of london when the cricket team beat australia...the tour of london when the football team got to the semis in the world cup....its only banter...im english love any sport but dont enjoy the pro english punditry on every channel...

there may be more chance of you getting a good meet on here than wales doing well in this years tournament

Oops, just seen the results! Well done England and commiserations to Wales .. I'm sure they can pull it around during the next games.

I think banter between countrymen (even tho Wales is a principality!!) is all well and good if the persons giving can take it as well.

What really gets on my nerves is someone who tries to be welsh when they are not ! If you are an Englishman or woman support England! then you can have some real banter. I dont believe you can be a little of both

No....im like a professional sports player....if they can play for a country because their grandparents are from that country i can support a country my grandparents are from.....

I'm proud to support any of the uk teams but from a football and rugby point of view i dont choose england because of the arrogance of their fans and press.........and there god given right for them to be thought of as the best....im not trying to be welsh or english

Well I'm certainly not getting it either, because if one goes by your logic, then Welsh people should only support Swansea City FC then, and no other English premiership team.

Leave the bloke support who he wants to support, seems you're the only one on here who's got a problem with it...

As far as club sides go it could be chelsea or Cowden beath! The forum is about the the 6 nations rugby wich is an international tournament my point and opinion is that you can only be of one nationality! And that's what sitting on the fence is about. Our scouse/welsh friend can support anyone he wants but any posts on forums are there for all members to express our opinions! Obviously willingsort didnt like my opinion so decided to pm me and demanding an explanation! I brought the discussion back to the forums wich is where it should have been.

I just hope that I have explained my opinion to you then as you have asked 3 times and really dont know how else I can explain. Yes you can support who ever you feel like this comeing weekend! You listen to the presenters and commentators though and the term sitting on the fence is very often used in all competitive sports in the banter between oposite supporters!
