Time limit? Our friends have booked the table for 7pm.....I was expecting to be there a couple of hours at least so we could go straight on to fannys after ! Best rethink xx

How long do you want to eat for? 2hrs is long enough! I don't think we have ever stayed more than 2 hrs, what's the point

No point a question was asked and a answer given . As they are going as a group they may want to stay not every one stuffs they're food down and leaves. So what's your point?

Lots of negative comments on here which is a bit sad. Cosmo is a great place to eat food and have fun with friends. Not sure where this no photo rule came from as I've got tons of photos from in there?! Staff are wonderful and polite. Best thing to do is go with an open mind as you can never please some people.

Have fun

Maybe it was a new staff member or something but the old man (80 odd) was grabbed and told to stop?

The point being we are going as part of a group (celebrating 4 people's birthdays) ...we assumed as per other restaurants we visit, your table is booked for the evening, therefore giving time to spend before, during and after chatting, catching up, having a leisurely drink and enjoying the experience rather than having to keep an eye on the clock and feeling as though the food has to be eaten at speed rather than at a slower and somewhat more enjoyable pace.

As an adage, thank you for all the comments both the negative and positive. Hopefully, should the experience not turn out to be too good the group of people we are going with will make it an enjoyable one xx

It's an eat as much as you want Buffett. How are they going to make any money if people are allowed to stay as long as they want?

Think it's more about a leisurely time rather than how much you can eat

2hrs to stuff your face? We go there and take our time.2hrs for us is plenty of time, unless you are you are the ones we see pigging out with your plates sky high and can't get enough on your plate then go for more!

Who's saying we are going to 'stuff our faces'. It wasn't a point I made and is certainly not the point of us all going! It's in a central area to where people are travelling from, does more than one type of food and is within reach of public transport for those without cars.

I merely opened the thread for comments on the restaurant, not for people to bitch about how much people eat and how long people stay.

Red Hot in Cardiff was dreadful the twice I went there. Food that was meant to be hot was really cold, yet it was being served in a warm pot. I wont eat there again. The Thai Elephant in Trebanog (Rhondda) is really good. The food is always hot and this is a buffet style place too, The food is cooked freshly to order

Well, we went and have to say it was quiet pleasant. Despite some worries we found the staff were lovely and very welcoming, you can pay by card, we arrived a little late but no problem with that, we weren't told we had a time slot and it was very busy with all the tables taken at all times, we were able to take our time whilst eating, chatting and all catching up and never hurried along (we arrived at 7.30 and left at 10)...and none of us piled out plates high to gorge themselves either!! Food was quite nice and varied and even the pickiest person at our table said it was nice....and that was quite a compliment from what I can gather. So all on all the people who booked it made a decent choice to suit us all.....oh, the staff offered to take pictures of us all too so no issues with that either
