Can you believe it!! I've been talking to a couple for about 3 weeks.

We arranged a meet ,all excited then I get a message just before I'm about to start out saying sorry they have changed their minds.

I know they have the perfect right to do that ,but why waste ,must be close to 100 messages all that time and energy.

I just don't get it.

At least you got a message calling it off before you went out.

Never got as far as arranging a meet on this site but have on others. Learnt over the years not to get too invested until there's been a meet.

For every person I've met there's many where we've talked about it but never did.

No point ranting and it didn't cost you anything. Unless you think your time is too precious to waste...

Thats the nature of the site unfortunately, there could be any number of reasons.

Could be genuine reason, they are new & got cold feet, only 1/2 couple arranged it or was a single male pretending to be a couple.

Have to do checks, have video chats phone calls with both away from site.

There are many ways we have learnt the hard way too =(.

Do not take it to heart add a private comment to their profile on your side to remind you if it gets in contact again or simply just block and move on.

Not entirely sure what the issue is here. Sounds like you have actually received a completely honest reason for cancelling.

It doesn't sound like they have strung you along. It sounds like they were interested in it, enjoying the buildup and then one of them had doubts so they did the correct thing and called it off.

I have backed out of meetings at the last minute, usually because the tone of the guys messages change and start the alarm bells ringing. Quite a few guys think once an agreement to meet has been made, they can then start making demands and changing times at the last minute etc. Mr Nice Guy turns into Mr Entitled.....

I use the forums and statuses as an extra filter. When people are having a rant they show their true colours. I have cancelled socials due to that and added them to my block list to avoid the abuse.

It's in the menu on the right hand side of their profile page. But you need to be a paid site supporter to use it.

Exactly this. Agreeing to a meet isn't a verbal contract. If the person starts to set off an alarm bell or two then cancelling is the sensible option.

We have met lots of people as our verifications show. We have also discussed meeting guys but then changed our mind when the conversation shows a red flag or two.

Did they follow up with a possible next time. there may have been genuine reasons for the cancellation. it happens alot. some are polite about it and other just plain rude and ignorant about cancellations. Some seem to get turned on by wasting time. If they just said cancelled, no explanation or not suggest let's rearrange and that was it, name and shame them.

They were courteous enough to let you know. As shit as it may seem, any one is entitled to cancel a meet for any reason at any time. At least they had the decency to inform you they had changed their minds as opposed to just ghosting you. Good luck

I had the same thing a few months ago, was meeting them as the 2nd M in a MFM n about an hour before I was about to leave to meet up with them they said couldn't make n we'll meet up the week later.

Then never returned my messages n unfriended me n never heard from them again.

The worst thing was they had over 50 verifications so wasn't expecting to be messed around by them.

I think you have to get used to that from my experience. All the ones that don’t happen are totally eclipsed by the amazing times you have when they do happen.

It is frustrating but you don’t want to meet with anybody that isn’t 100% as hot for it as you are - that won’t be at all satisfying for anybody.

We decided early on that we would only meet people at Clubs. Yep, it can be inconvenient and a pain and some people aren’t interested in/don’t

want to go to Clubs, however we have never been let down! Have we had no shows at Clubs, of course, but we have met other people and always had a good time anyway. After we’ve met people at Clubs it is much easier

to meet again in hotels

I have actually got to a meet. The male half come out and said his wife is to nervous so called it off. I just took that on the chin it's understandable the pressure some people can't take the idea is there but hard to follow through with it. But worse than that I was chatting to a women for weeks arranged a meet I turned up only to find it was a man all along trying to hook up with guys.
