The missus really fancies a trip to a nudist beach. Thoughts are turning to summer. We're in Pembs. Any suggestions?

Not a nudist beach but we love going to a lodge in st Clairs with a hot tub and being at one with nature. No one else around its fab.

Pembrey is a bit of a trip for us, hence asking about Pembs. Looking for maximum beach time between the school runs

Oswestry

Marros Sands a bit of a walk lovely and peaceful or Tything Barns nr Carew caravan or camp also can go as a day visit, we try and go to both at least twice a year.

Swan lake. Pembrokeshire. Beautiful beach. Majority go to the left on the beach. Spend a lot of time there in the summer.

Swanlake will be a definite this summer then

We'll explore Marros too. The plan will be a weekday wander on the beach. Find a quiet spot. Settle in and get our kit off to enjoy the sun...

Fresh East or Manorbier and a walk along the coastpath I presume? Google maps gives directions to a dead end but can't see any parking there

Swanlake is certainly not an official naturist beach and is predominantly used by "textiles". However, both groups coexist very happily together. This, I believe, is how things should be everywhere.

The bay is best approached from East Moor Farm where the owners have provided limited car parking with an "honesty box" for nominal charges. There follows a ten minute walk down to the beach, with a short scramble down at the end. The beach is relatively isolated, but is overlooked by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which crosses behind the bay.

The naturists tend to scatter themselves randomly, but they encounter little or no hassle. Bolder naturists will stroll from their "pitches" down to the sea. On less crowded days it is possible to walk the whole length of the beach completely naked while the textiles remain below the rear of the bay. I think the place is fabulous, if only because of its "live and let live" attitudes. Ideal for first timers.
