One for the ladies of fab (sorry gents) have been contemplating a hood piercing for at least a year on and off, have done some home work, read a few articles, do's/don'ts. Looked at my local and previous piercers prices and I'm on the fence!?

Any good or bad advice, experience would be very much appreciated

I had mine done a few years ago and have had no problems at all. Healed really quickly and feels amazing.

I was against it for ages but the truth was I didn't fancy obstaining for the after care time frame haha! This was also before I had both my nipples pierced and before I was finished having kids.

I love the idea of it, and we only live once so part of me is thinking bugger it just go for it.

Had mine for years. Healed quickly and had no problems with it.

I think the jewellery you choose and impact. I chose a bar with small ball closures. Heard that rings tend to cause more issues. Certainly experienced more women saying rings reject easier.

That's good to know thank you, I wouldn't want a ring, I was thinking of opting for the barbell as personal choice if I go ahead with it.

Have read that you carnt go in pools, jacuzzi etc for the healing time is there any stock in that?

Its quintessentially an open wound so no saunas, jacuzzis etc same as any new piercing or tattoo

Not that I'm planning a deep sea dive or an excessive amount of pool visits lol but definitely a bit of a tricky one with possible club visits would definitely have to be mindful of that one thanks x

I had one, healed very quickly to the point I didn’t follow the abstinence advice.

No problems at all with healing.

Didn’t increase sexual pleasure only when I touched myself.

Boyfriends generally disliked it because they couldn’t arouse me but I loved playing with it.

I took it out for 2 days (had it 5 years)and it healed up in that time.

Make sure you do your homework and go to an experienced piercer too as it’s not an everyday piercing.

I have had mine for 13 years now, easily one of my favourite piercings. Looks amazing in photos and when on the recieving end of oral...even better when the person giving had a tongue piercing!

I do not regret it at all. If you have any q's ask away!

Had mine done, loved the look but got the entire time it was there I couldn't have a clitoral orgasm, it was in the way & desensitised everything. I exploded as soon as I took it out X
