Tell me why a few men frequently leave the site only to appear again the next day with the same username?

It's when they keep popping up with new names that it's gets tricky & then of course, you've got those with multiple profiles.. just be strict with your block button. If it looks off block it X

I’m either very naive or too honest, but why would anyone do that? Surely a different profile won’t make any difference to someone who has previously said no will now want to chat with you?

Well according to Plick it's because they can.

Just to clarify none of them have ever contacted me, I just see they've joined on local updates.

It's not just men. There's a couple of women that do it too. Some I know are real, they even pay for site supporters. They delete and pop back in a week or so. May aswel just hide the profile.

Is it really bizarre? It doesn't just happen here. It happens all over social media.

Without even really thinking about it I can come up with several reasons why they would do it

It's a fickle place here...could be a multitude of reasons?

Get around blocks, deleted account in a rush then regretted it, think a new account will attract people.

One things for sure. You can go crazy figuring out others rationale so I wouldn't bother!
