Multiple messages

I understand there are some fruitcakes here, but trying to figure out why nobody replies to messages. Is it due to fear as I know there are people here who can’t take rejection. And I’m speaking to a few people after I’ve sent a previous message.

Can anyone shed some light TIA

Without knowing what your last messages to say, it's hard to know in your case.

But for us, we tend to stop responding if the conversation gets dry, or if it starts turning into a '20 questions to get my kicks' sort of thing. Sometimes it's because something we've explicitly said no to, keeps getting brought up or the focus instantly keeps going back to "so when we gonna meet".

I get this totally, and I mean just an ice-break message, I do talk to people it just seems people wanna look at a pic and then blank you? More profiles thanks others lol

If you're talking about sending multiple ice breaking messages then that does seem to turn a lot of people off too.

No I’ll send an ice break messages nothing explicit just explaining that the profile is nice, sexy appealing then it’s blanked. But then I see People Moaning on status about how they’re getting abused. And I mean I’ve seen some messages that make me think how far these people have got in life ?

So then site rules say if you don't get a reply, consider it a polite no. If the message doesn't resonate, if your profile doesn't catch them, then what more would you want? Replying opens up a Pandora's box that a lot of people really don't want to open.

Totally understand this, I’ve had messages from couples even thou my profile says it’s not an interest. Just a polite reply from myself and a “happy swinging and stay safe” seems more than enough i mean it’s nice to be nice right ? And is it my profile ain’t right ? Thanks I appreciate the feedback

It is nice to be nice. But occasionally we'll say no and then be immediately met with "why not?" Or "shame". We don't know who's going to come out with stuff, so we don't open ourself up to the potential abuse. It's one of many reasons. We just stuck up a new picture, and we'll be inundated with messages now. Sorry but you're just a number if you aren't what we're looking for and we don't have the time to deal with everyone we won't connect with.

As for your profile, it's your profile. It'll work for some, it won't for others. Just like we're well aware of how polarising ours is. You make it work for you, or you don't. If someone doesn't reply, accept it and move on.

It irks me when people feel so entitled that every profile they message owe them a reply.

There’s a million answers as to why someone doesn’t reply… none of which anyone has to provide.

If you don’t get a reply then move on. Either take it as a simple no, give that person a bit of time and judge if you should drop a second message. If still reply then it’s a clear no thank you

The "shame" "why not" "dont know what your missing" after a polite no thanks get blocked now its just much easier than getting another message in 2 or 3 days and going through it all over again.
