For me. A going social can be better than a meet. If you haven't got that spark how can you enjoy yourself.

We like making friends, so socials are great, both the big organised ones, and more personal ones. We have also done the deed after only chatting for a short time, same day, if we all get on, so not adverse to getting jiggy straight away.

We have many years ago just gone straight for a meet and it was extremely awkward when we just didn’t feel that connection.

I like to think we are older and maybe a little wiser so it’s social only now to see how it goes .

A social is always important to me. Rarely have I met without one and if I have it's because they have been verified by people I recognise and there have been multiple messages beforehand. Mostly it's a safety thing, I know my boundaries and like to make sure my bases are covered beforehand but also there needs to be some sort of spark/click otherwise there is no point investing time

Only once I've met without as much as a social and it was a complete disaster.. wasn't aroused or turned on in the slightest.. I need the social aspect before anything potentially pursues as for me there has to be chemistry, both mentally and physically otherwise it's just meaningless sex

We both prefer day meets ourselves, so night socials are always a pain, plus neither of us have ever been big drinkers.
