With it being my first Christmas in Cardiff I wanted to know, is winter wonderland worth a visit?

Cardiff

From Walesonline

At the market on the Hayes, the bratwurst will cost you £6 and the most expensive beer, Konig Ludwig Dunkel, is priced at £7 per pint making a pricey total of £13. Other beers on offer include the Kaltenburg which is priced at £6 and and is the cheapest available and the Warsteiner for £6.50 a pint.

A pint of cider will cost you £5, hot or cold. A mulled wine also costs £5, while a glass of wine is £4.80 and a glass of prosecco £5.50. If you don't fancy a traditional bratwurst sausage the Krakauer and kasekrainer will also cost £6 and a currywurst will set you back £6.50.

Winter wonderland is more expensive than the Christmas market too! Which is a shame as the two areas combined should make for a good day out and bring lots of visitors to the city - instead of extorting those who do!

I think it's priced accordingly to the location. I've drank in pubs in Cardiff, where pints are £8+. Besides, it's a family setting they probably don't want people getting wasted in there. I'll be going.

in the deep mist of the valleys

Winter wonder grand (wonderland) is ridiculously pricey and its not fair on children or parents.

I'm glad my child is at adolescent age and attends winter wonder grand with friends.
