Gateway to the Beacons

Why is it now I feel so low

Why is it now I will not grow

My heart breaks my mind is torn

Thoughts deeply break me so forlorn

Why is it you are in my mind so deep

I have tried to let the thoughts creep

No matter what you linger there

No matter what you have no care

I love you now so deeply true

That love means so little to you

I cry each night my heart hurts

So deeply my thoughts for you

In such a short time I fell

I promised to not let these feelings tell

My heart is torn I cry each day

I know these words mean nothing

I know my heartache is of no concern

These words I write have no care

I write them but I should not share

To you, I was just a brief fling

To me you made my heart sing

Today tomorrow forever more I will think of you

I thought so much of you

I hope you find what's true for you

I will never forget something I felt true
