Out and About

We are all here for various reasons, and I am for one very respectful of the opposite sex. So, has anyone been replied to with such self righteous and rudeness like I have recently. It's totally abserd what some expect on here. No wonder some are single. Such a shame too, as many have very nice figures.

Maybe what you perceive to be self-righteous and rude, the sender of the message does not?

And then there's me, polite but a chubber.

As mentioned above, perhaps they don't mean it as it comes across by text.

Or if even if they they do, forget them, keep looking, you'll find someone to suit you.

We are here, as you say, for our own various reasons, so not going to be everyone’s cup of tea and vice Versa, just need to get over it and move on

Sometimes the way we read something is not always the senders intention. If we can't be nice we should move on and not feel the need to write something. Play nicely. ??

Thats the whole issue with text messaging / emails etc, its all down to how you read it.

Having said that, I've had some shockingly rude responses on here but you hit the delete and sometimes block buttons and move on.

OP, what you may perceive as rudeness may actually be someone being honest about you not being for them. As others have said, it’s extremely difficult to tell someone’s tone from just a text conversation.

For example, some may find the addition of “it’s totally absurd what some expect on here” a statement that people should be changing what THEY want simply because YOU want them to

I don't know why people are so quick to basically say "well maybe it's your fault" "you read it wrong" or "you took it the wrong way" etc..."

Why can't people empathize with this guy and accept that "some" people on here are just utter cunts lmao

Many get attention on here that they'd never get in their day to day lives and as a result, they develope an incredibly arrogant and over inflated opinion of themselves to the point they feel it's acceptable to speak to others as though they're "less-than"

And it puts the nice natured people off.

People need to adopt a better sense of decorum, even when someone's not your cup of tea.

And if they're lacking in said decorum, then by all means, politely tell them to go fuck themselves with a sharp stick.

No one is blaming the op that I can see. And to be fair, we don't know what the messages were that were sent to the op.

I'm never rude when turning someone down. If they're not for me I'll tell them truthfully that they aren't. If they persist that's when I'll use the trusty block button

Also, let's not forget that women get loads of messages and more when they are online. So bear that in mind with responses. You're trying to get your messages gone as quickly as they come in. I'm no doubt guilty of sending a short reply at times but it's only because I have to. I enjoy the forums but my inbox fills up as a result.

Well, it certainly wasn't me. I'm always nice, even if it's a no thanks, and if they can't take that, then I hit the block button.

This is completely understandable... I think there should be a '' Hide'' or''invisible '' button option so if required you can go stealth whilst online

I think there is, or at least there's a 'do not show I've looked at your profile ' mode

The funniest accidental rude comment I had once was in a club after we'd just had some great sex, and the comment was "damn that reminded my of a guy I used to meet years ago, but he was skinnier than you".

They realised almost immediately that sounded a lot worse than they meant as I burst into laughter, so I got to enjoy a second round with them as an apology
