"Unfortunately a few single straight males have been throwing their machomanly tantrums on Saturdays bi nights recently. The staff have banned those who have caused issues. I can’t make it this weekend as I have other commitments but wish Michael the best birthday bash going! I’d also like to raise the point of tips! When leaving tonight and any night think about rounding up the bill at the end of your evening to give back to the staff who are trying their best to give us a safe and fun environment to play and socialise in! I totally understand where you're coming from but the last 4 times I've gone I've been touched without consent , harrased or had comments made about my body which is Franky just gross. The staff have always been awesome but between Manning the bar etc I really feel security is needed in the club."Really.. well thats not acceptable. Brings up the conversation regarding single mens entitlementand what boundaries they shouldn't cross. "Steve here. The male population of the community, like in life, need to call out the wrong uns who give men a bad rep. I'd like to think, if any men see someone getting touchy without consent they would be the first to call them on it. The small minority can ruin it for the majority and its in the majorities interest to take action so to speak and call behaviour like that. I've had to twice in chams before when I've seen it, but unfortunately Jackie has told me before she got groped by a random without consent and didn't tell me because of how I would have reacted. I'd call on all men and couples to call people out when they're not behaving correctly and if you're not comfortable doing so, grab a regular you know and trust and we'll happily "have a word"." | |||
