I guess that depends on what you're looking for? Scenery? Shopping? Nightlife? Peace and quiet?

Pembrokeshire coast all the way up to Anglesey, pretty much all of Mid Wales, some of the Rhondda… about 3/4 of the country fits this category

I highly recommend Talley nr llandeilo, theres abbey ruins to explore, two lakes and woodland walks to enjoy. Oh and a great village shop with bean to cup coffee and even slushy’s and ice creams for the whole family to enjoy, you even get a service with a smile and a flirt. Highly recommended ; )

in the deep mist of the valleys

I recommend my favourite beach and walk in the world. Llantwit Major beach and walk to St Donats Castle and beyond if you wish.

On a summer day, its my favourite walk.

St Fagan's. A collection of buildings from various parts of Wales. My favourite bit is the Merthyr terrace where each house is fitted out to reflect a different period in the terrace's history from the 1820s to the 1980s. It's an absolutely fascinating place.

I love St Fagans. Haven't been in years, but other half is not keen. Spend the majority of my visits eating fresh bread and wandering around in the sunshine.

Sod it, think I'll just go on my own.

Excellent suggestion, Roger!

"North Wales...

"

Firstly...does the St Fagans 1920's chippy do 1920's prices...?

Re North Wales where does one start...? The list is endless

The gateway to North Wales...Llangollen

The Queen of North Wales resorts...

Llandudno..

Beddgelert

Betws y coed

The ty coch at porthdinllaen

The rest of the Llyn peninsular..

Castles at Conway caernarfon, Beaumaris, and Harlech..

A particular beach North of Barmouth, south of Harlech...

Wrexham Lager

Bala and its lake

Dolgellau

Numerous narrow gauge railways

Wrexham lager

See the original Church tower of a replica that stands in the grounds of Yale University USA..

The Ceiriog Valley

The Birthplace of Welsh football

Wrexham lager

SNOWDONIA

NUMEROUS FILM locations

Just ask yourself one question why are the SEVEN wonders of WALES in North Wales

'of which in theses times the line

'Snowdons mount without its people' is so apt

The West may think they're best..

The South think they're bloody lush

They're just beasts in the east(especially around cwmbran)

But

Up North its just BLOODY MARVELLOUS

I dont know if it's a place as such, but several beaches where you can see the bioluminescent plankton.

Orgmore by sea, at the caves with a beach fire waiting for blue sparkles in the water is magic. The quieter coves around Porthcawl (they do exist) can be lovely too.

It's my favourite time of year coming up, spent hours on beaches hoping to see sparkles last year. Hopefully this year I'll be lucky!

Think the Gower is one of the most beautiful places around, pick any beaches and you will find beautiful walks, Rhossilli bay and 3 cliffs are our favourite.

Not really “hidden” anymore - can be incredibly busy since being in loads of “Top 10 beaches in UK/Europe/World” lists!

Great tips on here. Don’t overlook the Valleys - incredibly beautiful spots, and so much history (some of it sad/difficult).

Mid Wales has more of a sense of space than other areas.

The Gower is great too (can be very busy) and, for my money, Rhossilli stands up against the finest beaches in Cali, Oz, NZ etc. Amazing beach.
