Did anyone else have a £ 100 fine off ncp at the last newport social, machine would not accept my payment for some reason

Unfortunately yes I know someone else who also got stung. They were able to successfully appeal and get it revoked though, so perhaps you can too .

I did yesterday, I appealed with screen shots of my banking app proving I payed and it was successful via email today

I appealled it and got it dropped told them the machine wasn't working and there were about 30 other cars in there having the same problem

When I use nco which is no regular as they way too expensive on 2/3 occasions machine hasn’t worked and I took a video of it and a photo of out of order that works

I had a letter warnimg me that next time I park there without paying, I'll be fined. Can only assume they let me off a fine this time because their records indicate I downloaded the NCP app! I've been meaning to write to them to inform them that after seeming to have taken payment from my card 3 times that night, THEY then refunded the money! Oh, and if they want people to pay to park there, fix the bloody machine because not everyone has a smartphone to use the app anyway!!

yes we had one but when we went online to pay, it said no ticket issued, even tho they had pictures of our car ..... we had paid tho but we did have trouble with the pay machine.

I think it was thrown out because no one from the car park company turned up at court to give their case.

We had one too, we'd paid on card and on the Monday the money was refunded. I appealed it with a print our of my back statement and they cancelled it.
