BRIDGEND

Lost my life from age 18-29 from being made a modern day '(s)lave' (gotta love words banned from forum posts) for a cruel woman who kept me a prisoner and completely totally isolated from the world. She was 37 when I met her. I have the physical knife wound scars and the mental scars from brainwashing to show her ways to control me.

Now aged 42, I have a successful self-made career, friends with whom I can talk about anything with and a woman who for some unknown reason chooses to spend her free time with me. Despite the fact that I have tried to self-destruct the dynamic a couple of times because I have always felt unworthy of affection like the kind I have received in the last 17 months or so.

I am beginning to be able to consider calling that something I am proud of .

It's a two parter:-

1) I'm proud of my mother who started making the man I should be

&

2) my wife for finishing what started and being the man I am today..

Apart from my kids, I'm proud of the role I've played in a long and very rewarding career. Although I'm retiring soon I will continue on a part-time/agency basis

Aside of raising a superb, well rounded, and well mannered child, I also

appeared on "come dancing" in 1985 competing at winter Garden Weston Super Mare, ripped my lycra moments before, yet wore a smile and my dance group finished 2nd place.

Still like lycra and glitter, but these days I get to cum first

proud of that lol

I quit my decently paid accounting job to be a chef and it was the best change I've made recently.

Had 2 children, youngest is 22 n when she was born I promised that by the time I die I will makesure I leave enough money so they can buy a house each.

It gave me a goal to aim for n over the last 20 years I have managed to do that.

Through hard work n investing wisely.

Got to the point in life now where I'm in my mid 50's, I paid my house off, no finance on anything n have bought the kids a house between them n I have managed to retire a few years ago.

So quite proud of knowing I have given my kids a massive financial start in life n me n the wife can relax a bit now.

Qe both been there with controlling exs. Mental scaring was far worse for me (john) than physical. 10yrs worth of mental abuse took me to near breaking point. Now i am with the most loving woman i could have hoped to find. Some love to torment others but karma did come for my ex bigtime as her health now aint the best. Be suprised how many of us guys get treated badly as you normally only hear about women getting abused. You aint alone bud
