Hi guys

New to fab and the forums had to wait 336 hours to post.

I want to get to know you all.

What's your favourite sandwich.

Mines lasagne. Yes lasagne between two slices of braces thick white and ketchup.

Anyone got anything more exotic than that?

A whole topic on sandwiches, or 'pieces' as we call them up here, is my kind of forum post.

Something simple like Ayrshire ham on white bread with lurpak and salt and vinegar crisps.

A fish finger piece with salt, vinegar and garlic mayo.

Simple tuna mayo but I've saw salt and vinegar crisps mentioned above so I'll be trying that next time.

Two pieces on square sausage so I can have red and brown sauce.

Or my fav has to be a Christmas dinner leftover turkey sandwich. We freeze our Christmas leftovers every year and have Xmas dinner in March/April. Had it last week for dinner then pieces then next day for lunch.

Turkey, gravy, pigs in blankets, stuffing and roast potatoes all on thick white bread with lurpak. Oh and the cranberry sauce.

Read this all back and now I'm away to make a piece

I'd have to add cheese to this. Probably Swiss and then you've basically got a Rueben.

A strange one but I love freshly cooked warm cabbage on some heavily buttered bread with some white pepper. That melting butter flavouring the already buttered cabbage is to die for.

Not for everyone I imagine but I love it. Pop a bit of bacon in there and it is a step closer to heaven.
