Hi,

I tried to use a condom for the first time in years last night but as soon as it went on I went limp. Does anyone else have this problem or have advice on how to prevent it?

You might get more replies in the 'Swinging support and advice' forum as it might apply to others outside of Wales too.

Try using different condoms.

Relax a bit (easier said than done)

Try and put the condom on when you are fully erect.

As above cock ring supposedly helps.

If you went limp and lifeless - maybe try putting it on your dick rather than your head.

They work better then you’re not blocking your own airways

Sorry to hear about your issues. I have no doubt that a lot of men would not have this issue in the presence of your stunning lady, so perhaps think of your ultimate fantasy whilst you place it on, or perhaps watch her playing?!

Practice, practice, practice.

Personally I don't like condoms. They feel restraining, they feel weird, you literally cannot feel your partner in the same way. I can appreciate why you went limp.

However they are a neccesary addition to staying safe for both yourself and your play partner(s).

Start watching some porn you like. Whatever floats your boat, preferably similar to the situations you find yourself in real life. Train yourself to be able to cum to that porn whilst using your condoms. It will be important to be able to 'finish' whilst you are wearing the condom for this method to be effective. If you are against using porn, have play partners provide you with the same kind of stimuli.

Condoms are necessary. Always will be. It is about getting past (what sounds like) the psychological barrier about them. Once you learn you can still have fun (through training) you will have very few issues.

And besides, you cannot be hard all the time for all occasions, maybe give yourself a break from performance expectations .

Ask the lucky person who is going to share the experience to put it on for you. There are some expert techniques out there, including use of their mouth.

Happens to me regularly too.
