hi all was just wondering why do guys on thier profile say they are straight then they message other guys to meet me thinks if they lie on thier profile god knows what else they lie about just a thought

Putting bi on a profile can massively limit your meets as some couples assume you will jump on the male!! Other people still have the negative image that bi or gay guys are less manly for some reason.

So on one hand you may limit the amount of bi guys that will contact you if they think you are straight, but you may increase the amount off straight couples that contact you because you don't say you are bi.

As for wondering what else they are lieing about, this is the internet, you can't be 100% sure anyone is telling the truth!

Unfortunately it seems to be one of the big male traits on here - they'll lie and try to tell you what they think you want to hear, rather than be honest and upfront.

Don't know why, 'cos the truth becomes apparent quite quickly, or else they just change what they are saying to try and give you the right answers.

Not that they are all like this, by any means - but there are a lot like that, which is why I've just stopped looking for guys on here at all, even though I would like to.....

Alot of couples actively seek bi guys so theres no reason to lie about it really,but i suppose as 1 of the previous posts say,this is the internet so expect bullshit galore lol

we must have 5 or more messages every other day saying " says straight but im bi". hubby hates it and usually when they do say that we dont even respond to them, just dont get the stigma attached to it, if only men would realise that a lot of women find it a turn on Im sure they would put bi on their profiles more willinly

Thing is, i have had conversations with couples in clubs and we have got on great, but then they see my profile on here and they give me a snotty message to say that they never realised i was bi and that i led them on by not telling them!! They then block me! Even though the subject never came up in the club, and there want any chance of me approaching the husband...

For every couple that looks for a bi guy, there's probably two or three saying they avoid them like the plague!

There is also the situation a friend of mine is in - he is bi but he knows 2 of his workmates are on here, and if they found out he was bi then his work life would be hell. So his profile says straight.

I've always been honest on my profile, can't really see the point in not telling the truth about my sexuality tbh.
