Arranging dogging meets

Hi there, first post so apologies if we are asking something stupid

We are interested in going dogging but have never been before so don’t really know where to go or how to organise

Do most people just head off to a particular spot and hope for the best, or arrange with others beforehand where and when to meet?

Any advice appreciated and if anyone wants to pm us with some suggestions for where is best around north Cardiff then that would be great!

Morning and happy new year.

You kinda have two trains of thought on this. Dogging is supposed to have an air of completely anonymity, which used to add to all the fun. Naturally there’s no harm in arranging things.

I started probably 15 years ago as a single male, and in that time the Scene has changed a huge amount. Sadly most of the well known spots also attract unwanted attention from young drivers whom usually go up there to smoke and hopefully laugh with their mates.

However, that being said usually if you’re Curious just pop along and see for yourself. What is the real shame I think nowerdays is everyone used to talk a lot more at dogging sites, you’d usually walk up as a guy to a couple abs say hello before assuming anything would happen. Some couples don’t like this it seems nowerdays and drive off as soon as you get out of the car.

I think the easiest way forward as a new couple to it, would be find another couple locally who you can go with for some support, everything seems less bewildering then. But it can be a lot of fun x

We love to pre arrange a location with another couple or single, it also lets them know the make and model of a car, then they feel safer approaching it. Pm us if interested in popping out for some fun in the fresh air xx

PORT TALBOT

Were the same and tend to pre arrange meets with who ever we meet and meet at a secret location and as above tell them car details etc. There are couple of places your way people still use but when we have been its always spoilt by boy racers which kinda kills the mood... so we just stick to pre arranged meets and go from there... also any couples interested in meets were always happy to meet x

Would love to meet a couple at a dogging spot. All of the old and well known spots are now either full of boy racers or single men who are not respectful to other people.

We just tried it for the first time the weekend before last. Prearranged a location, agreed a time & exchanged info about cars. Easy and hassle free.

It's a question of personal preference and whatever works for you. We chose to do it that way because we'd rather avoid being hassled if possible and we got to choose a location we felt comfortable with.

I think pre arranged is the way forward. Dogging the old way was great fun, but idiot brigade and the prats who think as soon as they see a couple it their tight to barge right on in.

Not only have the small brain boy racer spoilt it but also the ones who come yielding a phone to get pics and plaster them all over sites on the internet. Or brag on here who they have met!!

I prefer to chat and arrange, then we all know what we are expecting. And it can be a more relaxed meet.
