Thats the thing that people seem to be missing.. it is a swinging site and swinging does have a social side to it as well.. its swinging and swinging is a lifestyle.. we are not on dial-a-pussy dot com are we.
This is where the site fails sadly.. what better way but to meet for drinks, flirting and having a lovely evening and then see where things go after that.
Sometimes its really nice to meet with other people in the lifestyle (if they are genuine swingers !) and possibly with people that we would not play with to have a good evening or chat and pick over the things we have been up to.
As I have said on here before its not the sort of lifestyle that you can just chat about with anyone down the local pub or rugby club (in our case) you would be looked at very differently if you did. 
Too many in here seem to forget what swinging actually is and there is a reason we would only meet over 35's and that is because alot (not all) of younger guys do look at it as dial-a-pussy dot com (or cock - increasingly so as well!) and nothing else. There are people on here happy to do this and they just need to meet up with their opposites or matches.
But Swinging in our opinion usually incorporates a social side as well, not just sex !
We are now using this site to keep in contact with people we have met and for the Socials, not for meeting people from here as we haven't got the time to sift through all the time wasters who seem to be on here to play mind games. Far too busy and not wasting our precious play time trying to find the normal ones on here, so go back to our old way of finding them without a site... much more exciting too.. watch out local pubs here we come again !! lol
There is nothing wrong with the site its just the immature attitude of alot of people using it. Swinging (again as i have sad many a time on here) is supposed to be for grown up mentally mature adult nsa fun and not anything else. So many say its a Sex Site .. its not its a swinging site and although Swinging is about sex its not the only thing that its about. its a lifestyle of open minded secure people.
Even if people just do want to get down to it they will normally want a social meet and or online chat at least first to try to ensure as best you ever can that the person they are hoping to meet is not a lunatic and or one that has jumped off the local bus !! (if you get what I mean lol)

I am sure there are women on here after the same as you.. but there is a social side to swinging and you cannot have a moan about people who are into the true swinging scene. People may well have been on here to meet but go so fed up with guys (usually) but others on here who have no true concept of swinging and are here because they think its an easy way to get a shag and not likely to cost them a meal or drinks etc as it would if you met someone normally while out etc. Alot of people will have been put of but the lunatics and timewasters on here, either younger people or married people doing this on the side that they now only use this for social chat and meeting at fab social nights. can't blame them far too many idiots using the site and make it not really what the title suggests. You might find it easier on a singles site rather than a swinging site. One new member the other day actually put in his profile .. 'thought I would give this site a try although I am not a swinger, but I need a shag and can't get one anywhere else' ... well with people like that you really can't blame people for either not wanting to meet or being very reluctant to meet on here.. Its a swingers site and if its an easy way for gen swingers to chat to others then that's their own business. The wording on your original post does say alot and is not likely to help you i feel. Exactly our thoughts, we started 15 years ago and today too many youngsters not got a clue about the scene at all, its free shags is all they are after and usually got bad attitude with it. we have been close to deleting ours too.."Same here, I have taken to hiding my profile to stop the idiots from mailing me, I now go and find the genuine couples after a social and meet up that way.
