Why is there no Swingers clubs in Cardiff?

This subject has probably been done lots of times but I (Mr) cant get my head around the fact that Cardiff with a population nearing 500,000 people doesn't support a vibrant swinging club?

Swansea in 2nd place with roughly 250,000 doesn't either?

Is it a local council issue or just not enough swingers to go there?

I seem to remember one opened in Cardiff 3-4 years ago but then shut after a few months because no one went?

Very poorly advertised and to be honest the club in Cardiff was an old brothel, the rooms did not change and it felt just like it hadn’t changed.

We are the same and can’t believe that the whole of South Wales only has one club and only on a couple of nights.

We think the same that there is a licensing issue, as we know a few areas like Barry and Cardiff applied for licences but got turned down.

It's such a shame that councils are so prudish when it comes to licensing swinger clubs. I believe Chams / Greenhouse is the only club in Wales now. Pennant Hall closed a few years ago up north. There was talk of opening a new one here but that seems to have died out.

And then you have places like Lancashire who have 8 or so clubs at the moment?

There was one in cardiff a little while ago, it was awful, was an only brothel and they hadnt done much to change it. So people didnt go. It felt more like a brothel than a club

Are there other options to a dedicated swingers club then in wales? I have seen a few parties that are not in a official swingers club, I am guessing they are just private parties.

Just need a venue that is willing to host a party now and again!

Swansea

Back I kent where we lived, there were 3 clubs within 20 mile, plus there seemed to be good amount of parties, one club we used, was run like a private club, not selling alcohol, entry fee was optional (ok not sure if you didn’t pay) but, they were always busy, with a monthly theme party, South Wales is definitely in need of a good venue.

CARDIFF

I went to the Clink Newport when I was 18. 1 of my best nights ever. Well before social media and fab. I learned that there were also like minded people around like myself. Also there was a private party every so often in a big house just outside Cardiff towards Newport. We had some fun there. But then it just stopped all of a sudden.

If I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat! I’ve thought of starting my own dungeon but it’s too Niche. I find lots of organised parties aren’t inclusive of anything outside of young slim ect

So if anyone want to really talk about this let me know. These things don’t happen unless we try x

its simply too small a city.in size and minds of the god squad planners.

would you spend 100,000 and loose it all because of the local god squad and newspapers? far better things to put your money in .

even chameleons is a part time swingers club there is not enough people for that to be able to open 5/6 days a week.

It would depend on the venue size. If it wasn't too big it might survive through the week with traveling business and tourism.

Also you could do the same as cams and only open a few days of the week and have it as another type of venue the rest. Say like a sauna spa or sunbed centre.

Yeah totally agree, would have to been multi use, have seen a few other clubs advertised doing similar.

Just need someone with the will, have the council on side and a venure thats central enough to be accessible but also remote enough to be left alone! hahaha

Yeah think I get why now...
