Just to inform folk on here sharing images with others is against the law. Play nice now all or you will have the law at your door

I think you are wrongly informed, it’s only against the law if there’s no consent. Jesus our prisons would be over flowing if that was the case.

Heads of the Valleys

I've blurred out all the ladies in my pics out of respect as they were willing me let me take pics and not violate their trust.

Shame there's a small minority who give guys a bad name

I belive she is correctly informed. As in you cannot share photos without someone's consent of an explicit nature.

I.e if someone sends a message with a naughty photo it's an offence offence distribute it to others or show.

Obviously it's not an offence to share photos otherwise no one would have any profile pictures or the sort.

You have already consented by having profile pic on here, who on earth would call the police and say Officer Im on a sex site and people are looking and sharing my photos. If you dont like it remove them !!

By that same logic you could simply say to a revenge porn victim "if you don't want your vids/pics shared around then you shouldn't have sent it in the first place"

Sharing your media with someone doesn't give the receiver the right to threaten you by showing your friends family or employer.

There's a name for people who do such things it's called being a cunt.

This is also half correct and half wrong.

If someone is looking at public photos then fine. If you say to a mate get on this website look at this girls profile. That is all fine.

However, if any threats are made I.e I'm going to "out you" or the person copies the photo and starts showing it around to distress the poster then that is an offence and a serious one too.

In regards to the revenge porn reply that's a difficult one because yes it doesn't mean they can then go round showing photos of an ex or posting. But on this site it's a step ahead as the photo is already posted in the public domain.

It really does depend on the specific circumstances to each case and this thread is too generic to comment any real solid guidance/advice.

However, this is debated often abd such cases are often open to legal challenge.

I hope this helps any reader to understand this.
