Abusive messages..

It's truly sad to see several ladies complain about receiving abusive messages.

We are all here for genuine fun and company etc.

Why some feel the need to send abuse if someone does not reply with what they want to hear or don't get their own way..

As a genuine bloke it's embarrassing to hear that other men are behaving in this way.

I hope the ladies concerned are OK and please be assured there are good genuine guys to be had.

Totally agree, its despicable n can be quite harrowing for any female or male for that matter. I do however feel there are some females and males who court poor responses on here as the lack of respect and ignorance to some who have messaged well, thoughtfully n with respect dont get the decency of even a one line reply of thank you for ur message, im not interested tho. I understand some are inundated with messages but a less than 10sec reply is manners surely to those who have made an effort to offer their company. No need for the messagers to lose it tho with vile abuse that is worse.

I personally don't mind if I didn't get a reply. Its no stress.

My concern stems from the abuse that ladies receive.

It's not fair and not big or clever.

I used to reply and say sorry not interested but most of the time get abuse thrown back at me. So easier to delete and forget. Not being rude, just learned my lesson

There have been some horrific messages but I see it as their personal issue not an attack on me.

I assume that they have confidence or self esteem issues to react so aggressively when being rejected.

It's crazy. We gave up replying, even with a polite no.

It wasn't worth it, you'd get a tonne of abuse back.

We've tightened up our criteria, filters etc. It helped a lot.

To recieve abuse after a polite no, enforces your original decision to reject..

Bottom line some of us know how to behave and be polite, for others these basic rules of life were evidently not enforced when growing up..

It’s because a lot of men and (maybe some women and couples) are on here as they think it’s a sex site and a given they get it when ever they ask or send a message not actually realising what the swinging scene is all about. And because of this sense of entitlement when they have their egos dented by being told no they feel the need to go in to defensive mode and feel the need to reply with abuse just yo make them selves feel superior

If anyone messages someone, the other person is not obliged to reply.

That’s just how it is.

This is why men get nowhere on here because of the small minority who spoil it for the genuine ones here.

Well so far (fingers crossed) no one has been abusive, really rather polite to be honest!

We have tried to reply to everyone though, just our personal preference. We have sent messages and not had replies but that's fine too! Everyone is different.

I’ve never understood why anyone would want to burn their bridges by sending abusive messages!?

I’ve sent messages in the past that didn’t receive a reply, only to later meet that person at a social, or have them message me out of the blue (without having seen my previous message) - leading to to some truly memorable meets!

And it’s just not feasible to expect the ladies on here to send a response to each and every message they receive - there simply aren’t enough hours in the day!

It is 100% out of order and the offenders should be reported and subsequently banned. I myself obviously get the messages you don't want i.e " not for me " or " you're not my type " its a simple fact of life not everyone will want to meet you. I simply reply with a courteous thanks for the reply and wish them all the best. No need to get infantile and hurl abuse like a toddler who can't have a toy.

this. If people get angry or upset because they've been turned down then perhaps the online world isn't for them. There's also a lot of fragile egos on here that think because they can pull in the local club on a Friday night then pulling here is a sure thing. Once they get knocked back or ignored they get abusive.

Hence we block single men, as surely they are the main culprits. We've chatted with one of the ladies who had some abuse recently, and she seems a very decent sort, so it'd be sad to see her go..

You got to be a tuff cookie in this wild ocean as there are Sharks out there shame for the good fish. But rise above it, its like playground abuse out of order and kids dishing it out wont change as the youth of today think I can get what I want. I posted a review of a club contradicting another review left. I received a very abusive message from the other reviewer. I was unable to message back as he had blocked me. In my opinion, if you are big enough to give abuse, you should be big enough to take it back.
