"Been looking for something good for weekend. Would i need a partner or single males able to go? "

Single males can go.

It’s bi/tv/ts night so as long as you are respectful of everyone you would be welcome.

If you have never been to a club before I Highly recommend a look at the club etiquette thread before you go as well as it’s a one stop info shop for all new club goers

"Just remember, a member on here reported catching covid in there following a visit last saturday."

Unfortunately that’s the risk we take going anywhere at the moment. I’m double vaxed and due my third anyday.

I go to college and sit in a class room of 20 odd people without a mask on.

I worked most of the way through and nursed my sick kids when they had Covid without managing to get it.

It’s very much a personal risk assessment if we go or not.

( personally I think the jizzcuzi has made me immune to everything in the world)!

"Will that have the greenhouse shut down?"

No not at all. Think about all the other pubs, clubs, spas and hospitality companies. They don't have to close so wouldn't be any different. It just means the people who tested positive will have to isolate. I take a test every other day and have been negative all week and went on Saturday so might have been an isolated incident.

"Just remember, a member on here reported catching covid in there following a visit last saturday."

A member tested positive after visiting Chams. They could have had it already, which is why they were advising people to test.

I tested on the Saturday morning before a planned visit the other week, and was positive. So I isolated for 10 days. As the club is insisting on vaccine evidence or a negative test, they're taking reasonable precautions. As Pinkfluffyunicorn says, it's an individual risk assessment now.

You'd think if they knew they had it, they'd have the sense and safety of others in mind, and not go.

Is it always bi TV night on a Saturday then?

They tested positive after going. I wouldn't want to know anybody who went to Chams knowing they had tested positive.

I tested positive 3 days after going

I done an lft on the door and had a negative pcr the day before.

I didn't willingly go into the club with the virus.

What I did do as soon as I got a pos lft was let everyone no it was pos and that I was doing another pcr which is also pos.

It's a risk we took going in .

Risk we take evreytime we go out the door .

I got it from someone there.

Be nice if whoever had it told people as soon as they got a pos test

But there's clearly someone there who won't admit anything and that someone is not me

Thank you

It was on the Tuesday.

We always do a lft 3 days after we been to a club just to be on the safe side.

I think that people who are Double vaccinated should have to do a test on the door as well.

They can still catch and spread it.

Yes they don't get as sick but others do.

I know you're an honest person. I suspect it was someone who thought "it's just a cold" and didn't test, though they shouldn't be going to a club with a cold anyway.

The other week, I was planning a Chams trip and I tested in the morning to be on the safe side. Weakly positive. Stayed home. Next morning, the positive line was coming through before the control line. Delta variant is a bastard. I got away with it lightly on the symptoms, thankfully.

Well, I say lucky. I think the vaccine made a big difference to how badly I got it. It stayed in my nose and throat, but didn't go down into my lungs, mercifully.

We are going next week!

With the issue with covid, like others have said it's the risk you take meeting with anyone at the moment.

If everyone tests negative (we test before, even though we are both double vaxxed), and you pick it up, unfortunately that is a risk.

There's no point playing the blame game, whatsoever. Most of the time it's an accident and that person doesn't need the guilt. False negatives are common, just regularly test yourself and consider the risks for yourself, but keep the mean or judgemental comments to yourself.

Unless theyve done it knowingly (and how will you prove that?) then just be kind.

We hope to see you lovely people there next week, all keep safe, and have fun if you are going today!

Don't mean to be mean

Whoever tested positive because my app was open I got a warning thing saying I'd been around someone who tested positive.

That's why I'm annoyed ,

Not that they gave me covid .

But that they no they have it and won't admit it

They registered there positive result

The app can't tell your pos if you dont register it pos .

That's sneaky

I told everyone as soon as I got a pos lft

Didnt even wait for pcr i gave everyone the opportunity to keep away from sick relatives until anyone I was with could get tested

I am sorry for anyone who caught it from me.

One being my husband the other being my good friend xx

Everyone needs to be kinder and think of others

I'd of rather knowing someone tested positive so I could get my grnadaughter out of the house before I went home .

You aren't being mean lovely, that was a dick move by that person 100%.

What I meant was, you did completely the right thing and told everyone who was in contact. It happens, we all try to minimise the risk and those who don't are assholes. You don't need anyone telling you it's your fault, as I've seen on a few threads.

Blame games don't get us anywhere, especially if people can't help it!

The person who knew, well, what a twat. I hope they are ashamed.

I really hope you are feeling better soon, and your grandbaby has all the luck in the world xx
