Arrange to meet someone who will walk in with you. Makes the whole thing less scary. Xx

As with any social situation, say hello, initiate a conversation, ask questions and listen to their answers, be prepared to fully answer questions put to you.

Keep reminding yourself that most, if not all, people in that room will be experiencing nerves.

It’ll range from an excitable little flutter in their stomach to feeling a complete mess!

Remember also - the most outwardly confident people are often the ones “faking it” the hardest

It’s normal to feel nervous going to your first group social. My first one, I arranged to meet someone there I’d been chatting to.

Everyone was so friendly and within no time I felt more relaxed. Walking through the door for the first time is the hardest part.

Good luck with it OP. You’ll never look back once you’ve ripped that band aid off

Why would you be nervous?

Its a pub.

Not only that a pub full of like minded people.its not as if you are walking into a room of the god squad with the perceved moral highground.we are all looking for no strings sex for pleasure.

Just strut your stuff .

The saying dance like nobody is looking.it applies to swinging too .xx have fun thats ehat iys all about.
