FabSwingers.com forum: couples and welsh chatroom

We`ve been members for a few months now and use the Wales chatroom quite regularly, but we have noticed that there seems to be fewer and fewer couples in there, and most that do go in there don`t chat !...lol

Also, nothing against single males, but recently its like being in a single male chatroom as they are the vast majority of users...

Where are all the couples that like to chat and get to know peeps before meeting?? anyone else have any comments on this? H + H xxx

Been on there a few times but most the people seem to be from south wales. We are in the north so the room is not that relevant for us

think the ones that are not chatting maybe they are just whispering all the time some people thats all they do. There are usually quite a few couples in the welsh room chatting but usually quite later at night

just sayin hi , and giving it a pennys worth , we agree the chat rooms would be just a s well on a social network site such as f book as the abount of swinging talk is small we have been on the site for a long time this profile is new , we look for meets in the chat room but alas its all small talk , well we know we need to talk to get to know people but its no wonder that genuine swinging couples are not using the room

We've been in there a few times and it either seems to be one other couple and a load of single males who try it on without reading a profile or the room is dominated by a clique who (If you dont like Chameleons in newport) dont want to talk to you.

Hi, we`ve seen you in chatrooms.Yes there is a lot of small talk in there, but its a positive step in the right direction usually,for us anyway,as you get to know people, their personalities and what you have in common maybe.

As for genuine swinging couples not using the rooms as you say, well ,...just because they might not be what you`re looking for, and vice versa, that doesn`t make them non genuine.

Everyone is entitled to their preferences as most profiles have their do`s and don`t`s. Just because theirs don`t match yours, doesn`t mean they`re not genuine swingers.

Hi , thats why we started this thread because of the lack of couples in the welsh chatroom.

Yes there are lots of single guys , some are polite and chatty but you`re right some just dont get it when you say no ... Easy solution to that is hit the block button ... lol

Have to say tho, we don`t agree about " the clique" as you say.

We have been to Chameleons only once, and didn`t particularly like it, but peeps still chat to us , and us to them.

yeah gotta save the same. we are new and never been to any clubs, but feel very at ease in chat room. and so far get on with everyone,

The chatroom is a great place to get to know people..we've been using the welsh chatroom for ages both when we were singles and now and have no problems there...I admit there are the odd few that spoil it in there for others but you should not let that spoil your fun....just sit back and join in the fun and laughter of the room...we've made some great friends in there..some we've played with, some not and some we've never even met face to face, but we class them all as friends

You get out what you put in - if we want the chatroom to improve then its up to us genuine folks to improve it - complaining that there's too many silent single guys wont do anything.

So why not one the one hand make a point to try and start up a conversation with someone new everytime you go in? regardless of whether they maybe be the type of person you are looking for. If the chatroom looks like a friendly place for everyone then more people will be encouraged to enter and stay.

On the other hand inept, rude, and generally non-genuine folks never last long anyway - so why not shorten their stay by making them feel less than welcome by being brutally blunt with them.

So the next time someone asks you where you are from, be straight with them, tell them that if they are either too lazy, or too stupid to read a profile, they've got no-chance with you, and that they've just blown any chance they might have had. they'll either learn or ship out.

after a few weeks halohorn methinks there are more couples in the Welsh Room now than singles. Thats the fun of chat rooms he he.

well i'm in the chatroom most days .it does take time to get to know each other and it usually leads to meets social and for fun .i have also been on as a couple.

Some couples don't reply because they are looking for a certain type which if they narrow down the people they wish to meet or chat to then it is'nt going to be many peeps to talk to is there?

We use the chatroom quite a lot, and have found thats it is only "cliquey" if you sit there and dont interact. Yes, there are lots of "in" jokes that newbies will not understand, and lots of ppl talking about the club (Chameleons), but I have seen newbies come in, and practically everyone in the room says hi. After that its up to the newbie, either they interact, and soon become old hands at it, or they sit in a corner and quickly decide that no-one is talking to them, well, chat is a two-way thing, jump in and soon you will be inundated with replies!!

Actually I know quite a few genuine swinging couples that do use the Welsh Room, but think a lot of ppl are now keeping their meets private and not announcing in room. People usually chat general stuff in room but maybe do the arranging my fone . Maybe x

have to agree,we tend to use the genrual chat room more now,as there dosent seam to be many couples in there

We met in the welsh chatroom. We find its great not at all cliquey. Naturally there are people in there who we dont chat with all the time but we always try to be polite and reply. On the whole its the friendliest of the chatrooms, and ther are regular socials organised by mandnsean so folks have the chance to meet in a none pressure situation. Keep it up folks and join in the fun.

Who said room was clicky it aint we very friendly this thread was about couples and singles not being clicky wasnt it. Mind u i could be confused, easily done lol

ok lets say there were 10 couples in there

out of 20 how many would be too old , how many would be too fat,

how many would be bi.(narrows it down a bit don't it!
