Doubling down on the point, even when you try to qualify it, doesn't make you any more correct.

Definitions people apply for themselves are entirely personal, subjective and their prerogative. Calling them "misguided" is just plain wrong.

If you have a different opinion on someone's definition of themselves then you should keep it to yourself out of polite courtesy and just move on.

I've been told off so many times by friends and people I don't know on here regarding putting myself down as ample. But its how I feel it best describes me so I'm sticking to it. I do not see myself as curvy but thats my opinion. Sometimes body dismorphia might be a factor. We then see ourselves totally different to how others might see us but at the end of the day it is only our own opinions that matter, no one elses.

Well I can say one thing, I don't need to earn creep points. I already chat regular with a few of the ladies on this post and some I've been lucky enough to meet in person I didn't need to be a white knight to talk to them. Just had to be friendly. So any creep points earned was Purley unintended

The responses have been very illuminating and fun to read. Some found the topic funny, others, for reasons of their own, took the question very personally and got very defensive, but my favourite replies came from the men who defended women; that were never under attack, presumably in the hope that they would score some creep points and women will want to have sex with them? The body type section of fab profiles are set out to be more subjective than factually accurate. The UK dress size average for women is a 16. But I would guess by your remarks OP that you would say a size 16 woman on fab would be, as you so eloquently put it “confused” if they were to describe themselves as average on here also going by another comment above you were initially down as athletic and soon changed when you realised you were also confused.

BMI is a crock of shhhh. Any man who is over the average of 13.5 stone is classed as obese, irrespective of they are body builders or just love a beer or ten.

Personally I don’t give a damn about size as long as I find that person sexually attractive. I’m guessing the 0 meets in 5 years means you either have delusions of grandeur or you are genuinely just not that nice a person. I (Mr) am miles away from some Baywatch era Zac Effron, yet I don’t seem to have an issue being suitable to some highly attractive women. I would sincerely suggest you either delete your account or completely re-evaluate your strategy.

So as you can see OP, both adjectives are interchangeable and can often be applied to the same thing at the same time. I don't think any of the ladies commenting are "confused". And they aren't "misguided".

I’d class myself as petite or athletic. Some may say I’m Curvy. The scales and the doctors will tell me I’m around 3 stone overweight so this would make me ample right??

Ideal weight is such nonsense. I'm about 16 stone. Haven't weighed myself for ages, but have a good idea from how my clothes fit. My 'ideal' weight is supposedly 11 stone. If I were that weight, I'd look seriously ill. I'm at my best around 14 stone. I feel great around there. I was around there pre-Covid, and I'd like to get back there, but I'm now some way below my pandemic worst and that'll do for now. Anyway, women seem to like something to hang on to.

OP, I am done with this thread now. Only reason I have contributed at all is to help it tick to 175 replies . I have no concern if you found my post to your liking or not, but I will say before I go, that I do resent the blatant attempt to create some kind of popularity contest between contributors .

Hope you learned something useful one way or another though OP, even if it is the fact that only you have the opinion that you expressed when you started the thread.
