"So guys. I popped over to Swansea for the social. Unfortunately I was unable to walk over to the fab group as I struggle with social anxiety badly.. I'm how struggling with my mental health. I'm teary all the time. Convenience is shoot to hell.. Not sleeping. Thought I could do it. But I feel inlet people down.. Sorry for my rambling. Just needed to read something down. Stay sexy Jo xx" I know how you feel, I've struggled with the same on and off for the last two years. I found joining a running group has helped me, forced myself to get out there, its helping slowly but its that initial bit where you're joining an established group with their own clique. Hope you're better soon

"Whilst we would have loved to have had your company Jo, you didn't let us down by not being able to join in with us. Maybe next time we have a strategy of meeting up with you outside. Speak more soon x " Having company to go in with makes all the difference, Although I've yet to go anywhere without Ch3wy, I can't even go to the shops atm but I don't dwell on it too much because I know once my heads in the right space I'll get out there again. I think though OP if your update is correct you might need to reconsider Fab for a bit, if in doubt take a break & come back to it with a fresh outlook X

Think I need a break from most things. Even dressing up is losing it appeal at the minute.

" It’s never good when you ‘can’t be bothered’ with the things you normally love, I recognise that all too well. There’s no magic cure, but well done to you for opening up here. Feel free to pm any time, it really does help. Personally I found getting out as much as possible helped - just walking with my ear buds in listening to favourite tunes made a difference. Good luck and chin up - you can beat this.

"I dont know if this helps but there is a great book called The Chimp Paradox which explains how to manage the part of our brains which create the paranoid black and white thoughts that often rule our lives. Its sure changed my life so I thought I would suggest it here. Any questions please ask" I've had two long periods off work with anxiety and depression and have to agree that this book helped me too. I was also able to see a very good counsellor (I can give details in PM if you want them). I still get the occasional panic attack and feelings of intense loneliness which my young Don especially recognises and helps me manage. Try and get some fresh air, eat well and spend some time doing the things you love. Speak to a friend, talking us never a bad thing.

"Oh sweetheart, I know this feeling well. I've recently had to take some time off work due to my anxiety. I've had to go back onto my medical which for me is a huge step back, but it's just a chemical imbalance. It's ok to not be ok. Sometimes admitting these feelings can be a massive help. Knowing they are there, knowing what they are. Then we can start looking at next steps. Having a support network is so important, you are more than welcome to message us. You've made a massive step, you tried to go. You got ready, you went, and if that's all you could have done that day, it's still huge. You'll get there. I understand it's disappointing, but take every win you can. I don't have any proactive tips, I'm still struggling, all I can say is it's good to talk. If you don't have anyone you feel comfortable to do so, then please message. If you do, and you just want to add to your network, then message us. Take things at your pace. We'll get there, and that's ok. Wishing you all of our love, Her x" Thank you for your kind words and understanding. Can't message you though. But thanks anyway Jo x
