Someone asked a serious question, and when the first reply is a tin-eared attempt at a joke, it can put people off responding seriously. You're not being harassed or bullied. If you do something crass, people are allowed to point it out.

I am very polyamorous, I never want a monogamous relationship again after a very controlling marriage. Happy divorced now for 2 years, went on a date last week with a girl from POF.I was honest about it, and boy Did I get one hell of a ear bashing, she couldn't believe it?.Then went on a social with a girl off fab, what a difference.
