Acceptable blocks

What would most constitute as an 'acceptable' reason to block here...

Mine are -

1) Abusive message

2) Sent polite no, and keep getting recurring messages

3) Repeat 'friend request' with no message sent

4) You just look like a wanker! (okay maybe not acceptable, but you feel a little drained after the first 3 options)

5) Previously blocked profiles, signing back up and re-contacting

Love to hear your thoughts

All of the above! Plus anyone with a nasty attitude on the forums is blocked. Simply because I don’t want to ever interact with them.

We've taken a new approach...

If there is no mutual attraction, we tend to just block. Saves trawling through messages weeks down the line only to be back in the same boat.

Might seem harsh but it works for us.

Mine are almost identical to yours. But also:-

1. When they send images of their dick with no context.

2. Sending me messages such as "I want to r*pe you." "Would you like to watch me fuck my mum" "I'm going to fuck you so hard you're going to bleed."

3. They demand a face picture but never sent one of theirs.

I think they need a "Block Reason" section too. I can't remember half the reasons I block most of the guys on here, be nice to have a reminder. x

I just delete those

Seriously that's just vile behaviour = instant block

A block reason could be useful, but can also refer/report to admin if things are not quite right

I only block if someone sends a rude or abusive message or won't take no thank you as my final answer.

I have been blocked by people who obviously just don't like the look of me after I've sent my usual polite message of introduction,I do find it very rude,if they're not interested in me just say so & I'll put a private note on their profile not to bother them again.

Unfortunately this is a common option and something some choose purely down to the amount of messages they receive.

I would not take it personally, just move on

We tend to block when our backs are on the verge of breaking through carrying conversations. Also when people ghost, then when their supposed better options dry up start messaging again.

I’m pretty ruthless. If the conversation hasn’t gone anywhere I decide to block them, no point in messaging again a few years later to find out the same issue

Not had reason to block anyone yet but I think it's acceptable when you don't want to read their messages, full stop.

I have been blocked, presumably because I hurt their feelings, although I am not rude. I'm not offended by this at all and I haven't lost anything because they're not my cup of tea.

It's only a little annoying when someone's been leading me on.

I block people for all kinds of reasons. People asking for 'help' all the time with something. People who post drugs related status'. People who I don't like in the forums. People who have read/deleted a message without reply. People I just don't and never will find attractive. The list is endless, and I probably have half the site members in South Wales blocked.

I like to use the private notes to remind me why I’ve blocked, especially because reporting a profile blocks you from it so it looks like you’ve blocked them.

I tend to block people who say no black/mixed guys on their profile (or no tattoos/beards etc.)

Or if I message and it's deleted then it saves us both a bit of hassle.

To be fair I'm shocking at responding to messages on here so I'd rather chat at socials.

I think it’s a personal choice, I know that some men block women to prevent themselves from messaging them further down the line and upsetting someone who has already said no or ignored.

I know some women hold grammar and punctuation close their hearts and feel that if these two are not spot on..100% you get blocked.

Let’s face it, some men are dweebs and will peruse someone like it’s their dying day, not cool and deserves a block and a report!

My local news feed is full of “If you can’t spell, don’t bother” and “No means no!! So off you f@&k and on my block list”

And “single men are thick as sh!t”.

I suffer with dyslexia, so not spotting minor grammatical errors in my messages, is pretty common for me, I do try and proof read as best I can but on some days, the letters are too much for me and I simply can’t identify mistakes I even leave out whole words my bad.

But blocking is purely down to what works for you.

I’ve not blocked anyone as of yet.

I block single straight guys who watch me for an age on cam in chat.

I've blocked a few couples for time wasting I have a 3 strikes your out system for them.

As for single fems, I have a few on my block list Purley for either rude replies to messages or as a filter to ensure I don't view their profile again.
