Perhaps your expectations of swinging are different to theirs, maybe they want to chat and make friends first, and then see how things go? Just because someone doesnt jump at the chance of fun when it is offered, doesnt make them any less genuine. You are right though, there are a lot of "keyboard swingers" who like the idea of it, but will never commit.
