So looking to get people's thoughts.

I am single and use this to meet like minded people couples etc.

However I try not to meet married men but some will evidentially lie.

If you arranged to meet somebody only to find out/realise they are married, and married to a friend. Would you feel obligated to tell the other party.

Oof. Tricky. Normally no, bit of they are the spouse of a friend...hmm. Depends on your relationship with the friend and your views on infidelity I guess.

A friend of mine has found herself involved with a married man she met on here. The lies this man told were simply off the scale, we are not talking white lies, or grey lies, we are talking pathological liar level.

Now when things came to a head (no pun intended) he of course being the skilled liar he is has convinced his wife my friend is a psycho stalker who undoubtedly misread the signs.

As such I would be inclined to gather as much incriminating evidence as you can, as in evidence that he would not be able to deny. Then approach him and say unless he stops you will out him.

However that won’t stop him deleting that profile, opening a new one, blocking you and starting again! My fear is by outing him to your friend she may not believe you and you could lose her as a friend?

Your wife can watch for all I care.

Just kidding. I wouldn’t want to get involved!

Same. I wouldn't like it, but I wouldn't want to break that sort of news. They'd certainly get the cold shoulder every time I see them though.

What others have said. It depends on the relationship you have with the friend. As much as they need to know, assuming they don't have an open arrangement, your friend might not want to hear it and might turn against you. Have you told him that you know?

Or married women ....

I'd keep out of it, you never know what their relationship may truly be like, and you'll just be inviting trouble to all parties.

My personal preference is also not to play in my own "backyard" to avoid any such potential occurrences
