Single couple?!

Surely there's someway of stopping blokes opening pretend couple profiles on here? The amount of friend invites and messages we have from 'couples' who blatantly are single guys with one verification from their single account is unreal! And theres even a few that have put in a load of ground work so we accept their friend invite because they seem genuine, only for every status they put up to say, just the male half tonight! It's frustrating more than anything! Can't see an easy answer but it's wrecking what used to be a really good site!

just ignore the ones who have not got a few verifications of people meeting the male and female you will know if they are or not genuine then.

happy swinging there are good couples out there dont give up xx

Just apply the "no verifications" filter and report couples profiles that have been verified by the guy's single profile, problem sorted.

Why blank unverified people? We were all unverified at some point and 2 of the best meets we've had have been with unverified people. You all seriously ring every couple that shows interest ? We don't have the time or the patience for that. And thats not saying we have loads of interest, we're just busy people! Surely fixing the problem would be much easier for everyone?

Check veris carefully. Narrow your list down to about two or three or so. Ask for fem to fem phone contact.

You should go to clubs like chams or socials . People get to know you and you also get verifications . We tend to not trust couples who have been on this site for a long time with one mans verification . Bit obvious lol

I think this site is littered with timewasters and frauds sadly. I don't think that the verification filter is necessarily a good thing as it precludes genuine new users of the site EVER getting a meet.

Oddly enough us single guys get frustrated by fraudy couples too. I have been duped by idiots on here too, I am reluctant to meet anyone who has been here for several months/a year plus with no veris (definite tourists)

Dont agree with that.

We'll meet unverifieds if as a couple they have pics of them both and both of them together on their profile.

So long they are what we are looking for, and they conduct themselves and their profile as a couple then anything else is down to our own methods of verifying people. Of course due to the filters - we'd have to contact them first.

Each to their own, I do think that a great deal of people here are very close minded, that said it is their right to be so.

I don't think it will ever be possible to eradicate timewasters and frauds sadly

The verification filter doesn't prevent Newbies from getting meets as not everyone chooses to use it. We have decided to switch it on after being pestered by too many unverified single guys. We'll take a risk on missing out on a meet or two as we'd rather not get our inbox filled with messages from new single guys joining the site.

Wasn't asking for rocket science! Ok an answer would be before a couple status profile is granted, a photo of both with username should have to be presented? Like I said we don't use this site to chat and spend hours filtering through people, simply don't have the time! Would just like to be able to come on, search couple aged... In so many miles of... Interested in.... And boom up come your choices, see one that suits what your looking for, and message them! Not have to spend hours deciding which one is a man pretending to be a couple! Don't understand the negative replies, it's a discussion to improve the site and make it better for all concerned?

Then pick people (couples) who are photo verified and show pics of them both, and both together - just like our profile.

If anyone contacts you and doesn't provide this request it. Or if you message them first, request it.

Solves a lot of time wasting - anyone who is genuine will be prepared to do it.

Dont see what all the fuss is about? It hardly takes any time really - its just due diligence on your part.

You can use your mail filters to tailor which mails you get.

The rest you have to work out for yourselves...if you want things to move fast to save you wasted time, find the people who are quite happy to confirm who they are early on, and avoid the people who don't want/ can't confirm.

It cant be fixed.

Not unless everyone goes through a video verification process with admin.

Thats going to cost mega money - not even expensive paid sites are free from fakers!

i dont see the problem here. we all know the signs of fakers when you been on here a while and you have answered your own questions on this forum.

we all get caught out but with experiance you get wiser and know the signs

If it was mandatory to have a verified photo to get a couples profile we would do it, but it's not so kind of pointless and being 100percent honest, noone has ever questioned us not being genuine? Think maybe we will end this conversation now, was a simple discussion on ways to improve the site, but everyone seems pretty happy spending their time filtering through profiles, which is fine, just not for us.

That's not common sense, we don't want a 'shag' phone! We were after suggestions of ways to prevent single men being able to do it in the first place! And by speaking out of line about something that is a problem, no matter what anybody says we get accused of wrecking the site, seriously?! Until now weve been on here, off then on again for about 4 years minding our own business and having the odd meet now and again! have all spoke about your ways of getting AROUND the problem, which is fine, and Thankyou for your suggestions, although spotting them was never an issue, having to spot them was the problem!

Sadly on every site there is a problem of men pretending to be women/ couples.

No site owner will be able to them all out on their own, but if people report any they think are dodgy, it goes a long way to help.

Being on sites like this you are bound to get some fakes, you can't expect everyone to be vetted before you speak to them to save you some time, so the best thing to do is go with your gut instinct , and if it doesn't sound right to you, hit the report button , block and move to the next one.

totally agree I was duped into a meet by a "couple" they sent me to the wrong address, turned out to be a single guy when I picked a few holes in his excuses, it isn't on really but I am not sure what the answer is. I reported the profile and he returned with the same profile name but a sa single guy!!!

We've come across "real" couples, where the females has no idea about what her male partner is doing, and agreeing things on her "behalf".

A call between fem's is plain common sense - not only to out fakes, but also to find out who is being real and truthful in their relationships.

Whilst agreeing with your original post, that something more does need to be done, it's practically impossible. (not unless you want to start a new site - with a strict video sign up to show how real they are every so many months - encase they break up or separate and the guy then carries on alone).

Not everyone (even real genuine couples) wants to fall in line and get photo verified - some are quite happy without it - some dont show any validations whatsoever.

Admin have it there for those that do want it - its optional (for everyone) If you choose not to use it, thats your choice, but you also can use it to help you find real couples.

The sites offers you so many ways to "help" you.

You are being targeted, because people who are offering ideas and help in ways to help you, and your throwing it back into their faces and saying they aren't common sense!

Then thats where you are going wrong mate....if we were meeting couples and we wanted confirmation there was a woman actually there, it would have to be cam to show face and a call when the meet was arranged ( much like what we do now to confirm who we are arranging meets with )

The net is a wonderful place but it is also a place full of weirdos and fakes, always check the people are who they say they are and it will save you being disappointed

Exactly, there is no guarantee the "couple" is still a couple after a few weeks of joining.

Verifications are only as good as the day there were done.

Just like an MOT or an STI check at the GUM clinic.

There are no guarantees people are who they say they are..

cam and phone proves valuable tools to out fakes!
