Butlins Minehead has had a right caning on a lot of the review sites..dirty, smelly rooms that stink of piss, dirty sheets, etc etc...and food that makes people ill...the worst thing is that Butlins dont seem interested in doing anything about it..

And maybe the reason why most seem to given it a swerve after the initial interest on here..

Its ok saying 'you get what you pay for' but basic hygiene should come as standard surely?

Whether what you have said is right or wrong, we shall find out for ourselves, my sister went a while ago, and said her accommodation was great, when we go abroad I always read the reviews, some are shit, others great, sometimes you can't win, and also some people expect 5 star for 2 star prices

Totally agree...look on any review site and you will find people loving or hating something..be it a mobile phone, a car a holiday, or whatever..but I dont think the price comes into it really..it wouldnt matter if it was ten pound..you would at least expect the basics. i.e. health and hygiene.

Many people have said its great fun wise..but there is a leaning towards filthy rooms and food that makes you ill..

Come back and give a review though..it will be nice to know because we are considering a break there..x

Totally agree never listen to reviews some people are just so over expecting !! Jesus want a nice cool weekend away that's fun get involved !! Enjoy it's BUTLINS not the HILTON !! X
